Prostitute but close enough. I believe I've heard it described as a dirty pretty woman remake but with a Russian mob angle.

Going back to work tonight after my weekend and I wouldn't mind one more day off. My mom keeps trying to sell me on the South and Greenville, SC specifically so I'm watching a video on YouTube on Greenville, "Southern Appalachia's Best Kept Secret..." and it's doing a good job of selling the city. The host has moved on to the food segment and he just showed some biscuits and gravy. So, I think I need to call in sick tonight and walk down to IHOP around 8pm and bring a book and probably my laptop and have me a good meal. I won't do that but I sure would like to.

Is that where your mom is? I thought it was Georgia.

Debating what I need to get from Sam's Club tomorrow.

They are on the coast in Georgia but my mom did a little research and found that Greenvile has a USPS processing & distribution center like the one that I work at in San Jose. When we did our little road trip during my visit last year, we VERY briefly drove through Greenville on our way to Asheville. I'm sure that if I moved there, I would like it and adjust easily enough but I really do love California and it would be hard for me to leave.

I hear ya but probably a lot cheaper to live out in the Carolinas.

That's sweet that she did some research on places you could transfer to.

California will always be there. You can not say the same about your parents. Just something to think about.

So this story is global at this point but it’s eerily similar to the Natalee Halloway disappearance in Aruba back in ‘05.

Yeah, it was nice of her. She'll do anything to get me out there. For years, even before they moved out there in 2020, she had been telling me that I should move back there. She is in love with the South and probably has been even before she first visited back there over 20 years ago. Besides being stationed in Pensacola for about six months, I've been back to that part of the country on a couple vacations and it did leave me with a good impression.

Oh you're right about that. We shall see in time where I end up. I really don't have anything other than my job keeping me here. I could transfer but I'm not sure how easy it actually is to do so and I would have to wait until July until I'm eligible to do so. It's something to starr thinking about though.

Dang, hoping it has a better outcome than Natalee's story.

Pain is on my mind right now. So is the return of the bleeding from my most recent surgery 8 days ago, but it is the pain first and foremost.

I was hoping that I was done with the need for my prescribed pain medication, but clearly I am not.

Why does this always seem to happen late at night?

Felt like my route threw everything at me it could today to keep me from finishing on time: Lots of commercial packages, lots of apartments, lots of multi stops. Never truly seemed to hit my stride till late when I hit a PR for stops in an hour with 36. 40 stops in an hour may be coming at some point.

Going to run 2 miles tomorrow after I poo then drive to Des Moines for Saturday's race!

There's nothing like the south. The best place to live. And with such rich history. Especially in the arts. Did you know Jimi Hendrix got his start in Nashville? Yep. Wouldn't live anywhere else. Humidity stinks, but it's worth it to live here.

You should've said BTK (Boobs That Kill). Those things could smother the life out of someone. Looks like she's smuggling two 18-wheeler truck tires.

It's terrific. Easily one of the best movies of last year. Diry Pretty Woman remake is very apt. It's got tons of nudity. women, men. You name it they show it.

It sure seems like it but our trip through Greenville couldn't have been more brief. We never even got out of the car. My mom wants me to spend a few days or so up there when I come visit them again this year. She said she and my stepdad can come up and visit. That's not a bad idea but I think I'll just stay with them in Georgia the whole time. Maybe if I was actually seriously considering moving back there, I would visit again. Have you stayed the night in Greenville when you visited? What kinds of things do you like to do when you're there? I would definitely like to check out Falls Park. Looks awesome!

Nope, just day trips or stopped by on the way home from elsewhere. Mostly hit restaurants and/or bars/breweries. Falls Park is really fun, we enjoyed our time there...it's a lovely area on nice days.
