I even went into settings and unchecked the hidden folders.
Perhaps it's possible that the photos were deleted; but Windows made a copy of them into some random Windows file or registry for the background. I'm not sure.

I thought that was possible as well.

I found it! I don't believe it, but I found it. Rather than search the folder name (which came up with nothing), I decided to search the photo name within that folder. Not that I know the name of each photos, but I took a guess. Like "NSX" or "Star Wars" or "LOST."

I got a hit on Lost! I brought up the photo and viewed its "Path" and my goodness is it DEEP within my C: drive. It was put under "Local" & RoamedThemeFiles. No idea how it got there but I'm glad I found it.

I thought it would be something stupid but in this case, it really wasn't as it's buried deep.

Sigh of relief now.

What manual? TV's don't come with manuals these days. When I got my TV last year there was no manual. You have to go online to get any kind of information and even then it's not always that easy to find. No. The days of things coming with manuals are gone, my friend.

I have absolutely no idea, as I've never ridden with you. Ask me that after I have ridden with you and I will know. My guess though is just barely.
I never said that the TV came with a manual. You did. I said to read the manual. As you know, that information is available online.

In this thread I see everyone's avatar just fine, including yours. Elsewhere is mostly a mess, though.

Making my morning rounds and while I don't really use IG too much, I do check out a few pages here and there. Conor McGregor's page is one I'll usually check. He has a new record label and recently signed Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Xzibit. Haven't heard a lot of Xzibit's music but I've always liked this song and video

This is true. However, read the manual is quite vague and could refer to a manual that comes with the product. I only mentioned it cause what you said, again, was vague. And I thought you may have meant the manual that comes with it. Old people do tend to get disoriented and often don't know how to work complex technological things.

My LG OLED came with a manual but it was like 7 pages and showed me silly stuff like how to install the batteries.

I'm through with LG. My last TV was an LG. I had no problem with them before. Then I found out they are the worst brand when it comes to diodes going out and giving the TV a blue tint. The diodes on the backlight of almost every TV will go out at some point. It's usually after 4 years. It's just that LG are the worst offenders.

I don't think my TV came with a paper manual....it was only available online or maybe it was via an app.....I forget?

So, my advice was vague you say. The problem with that is your own words prove that it was NOT. You mentioned that manuals don't come with TVs any more. Then you mentioned finding the information online. You knew exactly what I was talking about.

I just heard a crazy noise outside and thought it was a truck but it was a super low flying plane. It sounded like it stalled out as it got quiet and then loud again and began climbing.

It was alarming enough that I went outside to look. Squirrels...planes....I feel like Liotta in Goodfellas.

Might have been a squirrel flying a plane. They're upping their arsenal.

Man, what next? In Oct my dad went from essential tremors to full on parkinsons, in Nov my mom was diagnosed with dementia and has progressed quicker than we thought she would be since then (she has an appt soon to see where things are), a year ago my sisters partner was diagnosed with a blood cancer only found in older people (he's around 45- all the drs at the big cancer treatment place say the same thing they've NEVER seen this in anyone at all under 65) and due to how things are going they think he's had it for over 8-10 years, meaning he might only have about 10-12 years even with bone marrow transplants and crazy chemo. My uncle has to go back in for two more heart surgeries soon. And today my cousin (other side of the family) is going to die. Her grandkids had some virus a couple weeks ago and the whole family got it, they got better she didn't. She got worse and worse until my aunt (our aunt (a nurse) not her mother) told her she needs to go to the hospital right away because she couldn't get out of bed without falling. They diagnosed her with HLH (stage 4) removed her spleen, found masses in other places, did dialysis, intubated her and this morning her husband took her off life support and their family is all there to say good bye today, all within a couple days.

I really cannot handle any more family crises right now.

It does help thank you! It's hard because with bad health issues myself I haven't seen some of my cousins in decades, I feel so far away. Especially because I just got off the phone with my sister who said she passed while I was just getting off the phone with my aunt. Plus my other cousin (same side of the family) just got out of the hospital with some heart emergency an hour before our other cousin died. This is just insane to me. I mean the oldest cousin (brother of the one with the heart thing) only just turned 50 a couple months ago and the cousin who just died turned 50 maybe the day before she went into the hospital a couple days ago. We still have all our aunts and uncles even with crazy bad health scares over the years.
