I’m still undecided but $35 is a pretty decent price for it. Only 700 units.

They’re around but I’m managing at the moment. Chased one off the deck yesterday.

I’ve actually never watched Parks & Rec.

I thought you were going to say "I have gotten up from the desk and walked out of the room three times to pee in the last 2 hours....." The pain is real.

That is a huge pet peeve of mine. We have one near the bus stop by my office. It's just trashing Mother Earth and I find it tacky as hell. No one cares that your poor johnny passed away here. All we see is you trashing up the place. It just grinds my gears.

Funny cuz I used to do this a lot, but it's happening a lot less frequently now since I try to focus on the task, haha.

They opened a Dave’s Hot Chicken in my area, so I was eager to try it for the first time. It’s definitely good stuff but my goodness are they pricey! Their slider meal with fries is $10 and you don’t even get a drink. If you just want to add 1 tender, it’s $4 more lol.

Here’s what it looks like.

Basically just a chicken tender sammich with slaw and their sauce.

Raising Cane’s = a bargain compared to Dave’s but I’m a sucker for the Nashville hot flavors, so I’ll be back.

Yeah…it’s pretty insane. I went back yesterday for another #4 tho

So I’ve spent $20 there for basically 2 tenders on a bun with pickles and slaw + fries. At least include a drink. I guess they figure they can really capitalize by selling hot chicken with no included drinks.

I was going to try the Dave's in Lexington KY a couple years ago, I got as far as walking inside the lines were long as hell and they said there would be a minimum of a 40min wait so I just left and went to Cane's. Haven't been back yet. I know there's one about 40min away from me here in NYS, I may give it a shot if I happen to pass by it but it's not high on my list right now.

I never cared for Nashville hot from KFC, but Hattie B's on Broadway in Nashville is well worth the wait times if you're ever in Tennessee, it seems there was always a line out the door whenever I was in the city for something which wasn't very often as downtown Nashville was never my scene.

Yeah…screw waiting 40mins. I recommend ordering ahead. The Dave’s location in Vestal isn’t too busy. I’ve only made it to Pigeon Forge in TN. One of these days I’ll get to experience true Nashville hot chicken!

Almost California prices! Each combo is roughly $.30 less than what we pay out here. I haven't actually tried it, but now I've been enticed. Gonna have my wife pick some up as she's out right now.

I had anticipated the cost being much higher out in Cali. Maybe I should move out there. Nevermind...I'm not paying $5 for a gallon of gas.

That is very surprising though. The location in PA is $.50 less per meal vs. the NY location I was at.

Let me know what you think. Now I'm in the mood for chicken.

I'm surprised the prices are thaTClose as well, but $20 is pretty much par for the course for a single combo meal with a drink at most places. A large drink by itself is almost $4 now.

Lol yeah they get you on the gas out here, but I still happily drive my V8 and rev my motor next to those annoying Tesla drivers who just love cutting off anyone driving a vehicle with an internal combustion engine.

I was eager to try Daves, but they have just been bought out by the parent company who owns brands like Dunken Donuts, Buffalo Wild Wings, Arby's, in otherwards all companies who were far better before they were bought by this company! So, I now have low hopes for this brand. Pricing looks like it will make it something I won't feel bad about not trying anyways.

Thinking about my weekend that starts in 7 minutes. Probably going to spend the night at my dad’s house tonight. Golden Corral will be on the menu later today.

We've got a couple of other Hattie B's locations that you don't have to go downtown for. No one who lives here goes downtown unless they absolutely have to. Like for a concert or something. You can see the best of Nashville without ever setting foot in Downtown Nashville. About the only good thing Downtown Nashville has going for it is the Ryman.

Then you'll want to go to Prince's Hot Chicken. I hear that's the best. I've never been as I don't care too much for super hot things.

I was driving back from the post office a little while ago and saw an elderly man with a long ponytail in a convertible in front of me. I find that to be a cringe worthy combination.
