I remember now it was the P50. Got it for the mancave, and it was also an open box item. Could have been a bad unit because I remember everything I read up on it was mostly all positive.

Just got home from driving Lyft/uber. Drove 12p-2p, then 3p-5p, then 9p-6a. But the last thirty minutes of my drive back home I had to deal with 20 motorcyclists, all part of the “Thunderguards M.C.”, New Jersey chapter. Well let me tell you. I hate every one of them. I hope they all die. A slow, painful, torture of hell. No reason they need to take over every lane of traffic, not let anyone pass, multiple times getting right in front of me and then slowing down quite a bit. I so badly wanted to run them all over. ****ing *****es is what they are.

It must have been since mine worked flawlessly and put out a fantastic picture until my dumb ass didn't secure it well enough in transportation when we moved and busted the screen.

Aw, damn! That sucks. I had that happen with a widescreen PC monitor. Not as pricey as the P50 for its time, but still. Sucks damaging something that and in the back of your mind you probably can't stop thinking could have been avoided. And it hurts more when it's something that you get enjoyment out of just about every day.

Yeah, it sucked especially cuz there wasn't anything wrong with it even after all those years, but it was my own fault for not securing it better. At that point, it was relegated to my office TV so I replaced it with an M55 at the time (which I still have in my current office) and it's just garbage. Even though I didn't notice any signs of an open-box situation at the time of purchase, I tend to think it was a return as I've noticed minor issues with it over the years and it's gotten progressively worse.

* The Netflix documentary was boring; enough so to fall asleep. I think we got the message by now; there are a bunch of crooks in all sectors of the globe; he was one of them among many. Very sad; people died in his descent to the bottom of deficiency.

I'm a fan of photos of outdoor furniture. While I never seriously considered purchasing it, I had this item in my saved list on Amazon.

I love 80’s fist fights. Watching Red Heat… what do you think they used for punching sound effects? This one I think it’s a couple of boards slamming into a wooden deck. For the Indiana Jones punches I picture someone smacking a cricket bat into a side of beef.

When I moved, I had a 75 inch Sony TV. It was a nice TV but I knew there was a possibility it would get damaged in transit so I gave it away. I never keep the original packaging and that box is really the only way to transport large TVs. I didn't have the time or money to crate it properly so I just said f**k it, I gave it to my co-worker. My current TV is an expensive 65" OLED, professionally calibrated. If I decide to move or have to do so due to circumstances beyond my control, I'd probably have to do the same thing. Might try and sell this one.

I went for a bike ride earlier out through Los Gatos and Saratoga. Both towns are pretty affluent and while I've seen all of this stuff many times by now, I still can't get over how well off some people are.

And also thinking I wish BR.com had an option where you could easily load pictures from your computer. I know you can go advanced and click on the paperclip to attach an image but there are a couple other forums that I use where you add them easier. Also, I believe I used to be able to hover over a thread title and see part of the OP but I can't now. I am able to do so on the other boards that I browse.

I hardly ever upload pics here because of just that. It's a pain to use a image uploader site.

My job is relatively easy, sitting behind a desk, answering phones, etc. I have other duties too but I can multitask no problem. The problem is, I'm very popular in my building so I'm CONSTANTLY greeting people, fist bumping, people stop to chat - it's very taxing mentally. It sounds silly but this happens ALL DAY LONG for 9 hours. Most times I just wanna be left alone. I don't want to hear everyone's life stories. I don't care what you did over the weekend and I'm sure most people don't care about mine so why bother asking every time? There are days when I just wanna get the heck outta there.

I worked retail for many many years. There were certain customers that seemed to have nothing better to do than stop and chat. A couple employees I worked with would come and interrupt if they saw this happening to allow me to get away. I did the same for them.

That does sound exhausting. You gotta stop reinforcing their behavior.
