Hulk Hogan died. First Ozzy now the Hulkster... and the week isn't even over yet. Uff da.

Today was a more expensive day than I had intended it to be. It went from thinking it could be a no-spend day (no eating out) with only a few groceries. My grocery bill ended up being less than $11 I think.
The thinking then shifted to possibly getting one hot dog combo at Costco which would be $1.64. Then, while at work, I decided that I would ask to get off early. I clocked out at 2:15am which was half my shift. I figured I would get some breakfast at Denny's or IHOP. It turns out that last night's shift was my lady friend's last day of work there.
She took a bid for a station which happens to be the same station that I spent 6 years at in my previous post office career. Anyway, so we left at the same time and we ate at the IHOP near my place and with tip, the bill ended up being just over $63

So yeah, I need to eat at home for the next few days. We get paid two three times this month and I should have $9K saved for my new bike. I would either use that as a down payment or I may just plan to try and save enough to pay cash for it. I do have about $4,500 in credit card debt right now which isn't good but not too bad either. No interest until next year definitely helps.
Also on my mind is what the bike prices are going to look like with these tariffs. I really don't want to know.

I can not imagine spending $63 at IHOP, even for two people plus tip, but then again I would not have been likely to eat there in the first place.

It really is sad. We truly lost an icon. You didn’t need to be a wrestling fan to know about Hogan and his impact on pop culture before we had the Internet.

I'm guessing Phil Collins might not be with us much longer. Did anyone have more of an influence on 80's pop music than him?

It really is sad. We truly lost an icon. You didn’t need to be a wrestling fan to know about Hogan and his impact on pop culture before we had the Internet.

I thought the Hulkster was relatively healthy. Was surprised to hear of his passing.
