I was lucky and bought the vanity, mirror, vanity fixture, shower door and a few other items during home depots sale this weekend. I spent 1,700 bucks and saved 1,250 so I was able to get a few higher end items for a good price.

Tron (original & remake) were announced at D23. I figured they would be coming with Ares on the horizon.

I have already thinned out what I want for now. I will keep you in mind for the next time. The thing is I had some heavy hitters so I could mix in the chaff and maybe get a buck or two for those.

Tron had been rumored for a while and it just officially got announced a day or so ago. No preorders yet and everyone is going nuts. Walmart had it up and was gone in about an hour. Scalpers on Ebay I saw one copy listed for $100.00. Like another forum member KyloRen said they need derezzed.

It's official. I've run out of movie storage space. I've now been subjugated to stacking the titles.

I do have a thot tho. I've had these Harry Potter things for years. They take up a lot of real estate and most haven't even been opened. I might get rid of them and use that space. Then again, maybe not. Just some ramblings from an old curmudgeon on a Wednesday afternoon.

I hear ya buddy. My overflow sadly ended up getting stacked as well until I can find a larger media tower. While not ideal, this tower (technically a bookcase) from IKEA (only $25) works best for my needs and as I say...it "eats" discs as I can stack 'em two deep. I can store over 1000 *stacked* Blu-rays.



But when I want to get a movie from the back...

Those Harry Potter ultimate editions are nice. I never got 'em due to their size.

Those Harry Potter Ultimate edition blu-rays might be worth something. I would check their pricing on ebay before making a decision on what to do with them.

I have them myself; they are very nice sets with some unique features if my memory is correct.

I checked the eBay completed/sold listings and they avg roughy $30 or so sealed. I believe the 8-part documentary, Creating the World of HP (1 part per box set) was exclusive to that edition until the 4K release.

accidentally clicked on a listing in ebay and suddenly have an offer from the seller which I had to decline to delete it from my summary page. Since when did ebay start doing this nonsense. Does this mean all sellers see your profile when clicking on the post? is there a way to prevent this?

It’s been going on for a while now-at least 5 yrs. I stopped selling years ago, so I am not sure what info a seller can see when sending offers after someone views their listing.

Not a problem. Thanks for thinking of me for next time. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Also for the preorders for Tron/Tron Legacy. I'm not letting those slip through my fingers. At leat not Tron anyway.

Thank God for McKay's. If I need to free up space or just want to get rid of some movies I am tired of I can take them there. That way I can get credit for new movies perhaps. Or cash if I am needing to downsize. Or even if I just need the money. Been doing this for at least 30 years.

Ever since I was a kid I've wondered why the Sanitation Depts. at every city I've lived in bother with street sweeper machines. All they do is spray water and toss trash around. They don't really accomplish anything.

I was told a couple months ago that I need to cut back or stop drinking coffee. I was drinking a 10c pot every morning plus a quick cold brew or something in the afternoon. So I switched to coffee pods, 2 cups max. On work mornings I only make one cup and stopped for a 2nd cup on my way into work. It's been going as well as it may seem, I only get slight caffeine withdrawals (going from 600mg to maybe 60mg if my calculations are correct) and I've been drinking much more alcohol than I ever did. Its another vice I have to fight I guess, either way we're going to die so I have to decide do I want to go out via a potential heart attack or cirrhosis of the liver? Hmmm...

I sell on Ebay and when I look at my auctions it tells me how many people are "interested" in that item. There is an option to send them an offer. I used this feature for the first time this year (been on Ebay for over 25) and was able to sell about 15 items (with a little discount). If this makes money for Ebay, I don't see them changing it.
