That's heartbreaking.
Maybe try to reach out to friends or family to help ease your pain.
Hang in there memovieaddict.

I went for a quick cruise earlier this evening and turned my headlights on for the first time in a couple of months. The end of summer is approaching.

Yes, I agree!! With experience under my belt, I always try to have the local currency before I leave the airport (especially easier now with the euro) but as a 16 y.o. teen, I was clueless and my parents had me freaked that I would get scammed at the money exchange places even if they were banks, lol. Live and learn!

Take this however you wish but let me preface it by saying it is expressed with good intentions.

9/10 of what I've seen you post is negative, whether it applies to your dog, life, employment sitch, social standing etc. Based on what I've read, you have been having an extremely tough go of it but it may help to modify your perspective.

I am one of those that firmly believe in the power of positive thinking. Instead of fearing the loss of a beloved pet, rejoice in the time you spent and how much love was shared. Take solace that your dog's struggle and possibly pain will be at an end.

Instead of focusing on what is not selling in your sell thread, be happy you have made sales. Don't concern yourself that others like MichaelBayFan seem to sell more. Sales are not an indication of popularity, it's simply a supply and demand issue.

Why focus on ex-coworkers who now ignore you, despite you extending previous aid in the past. Be thankful that those type of superficial people are no longer in your life. Circumstances have allowed you to see who is a real friend and who is a fair weather friend and that is a positive thing.

I don't know you from Adam but it seems your general outlook is negative. All it takes to spark change is a different perspective. Radiate positive energy and you become a magnet for positive things. Become the change you seek.

I've had that happen to me and really, it's no bother at all.
I've got a few klunkers and I know that, but it doesn't affect anything in my life at all if someone attempts an insult.
It'd be cool to see your interest in movies. Let 'er rip Dude!

So get this: A now former friend of mine just severed the friendship after 10 years. Her reason: I didn't bring a gift to a cookout they held on their 2 year old son's birthday. By her logic, that makes me "selfish", "heartless", "cheap", and "insulting". Additionally: she now accuses my girlfriend of stealing cake from the party, conveniently ignoring the fact that she was urging people to take cake home due an overabundance of it. There's also the fact that at the present time I have only part time work, am more or less broke, and at this rate, could be for life.

She took the liberty of speaking for her husband and mother in law on the matter too, which is dubious since he always seemed way more rational, but since she's in control of his communication channels (FB page, email, and probably his phone) I have no way of confirming or denying at the present time.

No one will probably even notice.

On topic: I just threw away something that cost me probably around $1000.00 or more! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The reason was not religious or anything like that, I was just sick of it.

The one I hate the most is "At the end of the day". It drives me nuts and one of my fav sportscasters uses it way too much.

On topic, I am missing my daughter terribly. Our plan is to be in her city next month, but it can't come soon enough. Seeing her a couple times each year isn't enough and I've got to change that.

Thank you Villiam, I appreciate that!

OT, I am wondering what to do tonight. Shark Week is PVR'd so I can watch that at my leisure. Beer store is closed because of the holiday today, but I can still get off-sales at the bar downtown. Or just chill and watch a movie.
Hmmm...
