Being thankful I don't live in the parts of England where water is coming through your front door.

I don't,it has been constant on the news though,I would have stated England in my earlier post but then it is only some parts so that's why I mentioned that.

In saying that,I get the same chocolates here as I am in the UK....what ones are your favourite?

so you're in the UK? i haven't been able to watch the news lately. like you, i have no interest in watching the olympics as well...killing thousands of stray dogs just for it is unforgivable to me. cadbury flake is one of my favorites; i used to be able to buy it here but they stopped selling it. it was too expensive also and i used to spend like $3 per bar.

I live in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK.

There is an American Candy store in Belfast that sell's vanilla Coke,I love it but it is £1.50 a can in there.....so I only treat myself from time to time...A tin of beer is cheaper.

ireland is in my top 5 of places to visit before i die. there's just something about that place that fascinates me.

i stopped drinking soda like 8 years ago. i used to really like vanilla coke though. i'd rather have you drinking vanilla coke than beer though.

I generally don't drink fizzy drinks, that would be the only one from time to time.

Yeah Ireland is a beautiful Country, both North and South,I think you should try and get here at some stage for sure.

No beer tonight.....just wine.
I'm logging off now to watch the footie(soccer)

Thinking about getting rid of stuff. I guess I'm not good at it. I understand hoarding. I just have stuff that doesn't get used but it's not broken yet.

For example my DreamCast... I don't use it ever. My kids say they don't want me to get rid of it.... Would be a lot easier if it broke.

It's not a storage space issue as I have lots of room,... It's just supposed to be a good idea to get rid of stuff you don't still use.

A person we know from my fathers work lost their dog this afternoon..a small lhasa apso. And we have had a snow storm all day with high winds and it's going to get pretty cold tonight....

We went to help go look for it for a few hours but no luck..don't think it will make the night with it being 10 out... sad

Hopefully the dog will find its way back. Losing a pet is the worst feeling in the world. Kudos to you for taking the time to look for it.

i hate to blame people and call them irresponsible, but in my neighborhood alone, i see a lot of lost dogs owned by the same owners. my opinion is that if you truly love your dog like a true family member, you'll always know where your dog is at all times. what's sad is that even though a lot of people truly care about their pets, they still consider them replaceable. i love my dog like he's my only child, so i protect him like i would protect any of my immediate family members.

i'm hoping that someone finds this dog asap!

i know. I didn't think they would find him especially with the weather the way it was last night. Lucky he was walking along the road and not deeper in the woods. But the snow is pretty deep right now and with how little he is it would be hard for him to walk in the snow

that's great news. it's always difficult to hear (or read) when someone's pet goes missing.
