wondering why the hell the right side of my tongue is swollen.
i'm not allergic to any foods and haven't eaten anything i've never eaten before. and i haven't been bitten by anything. the only thing i did was smack the shit out of my finger with my hammer earlier today, but surely that wouldn't make my tongue swell up..... |

drink a lot of water for now, and if by tomorrow it still is in the same condition then you must see a doctor! take care of yourself and avoid eating anything that could make it worse. |

^ that would of course be the ideal thing to do esp. if he has medical coverage. he didn't mention if the right side of his face is swollen or not, and that's the only reason i didn't think it was an emergency case. the same problem happens to me sometimes, and yet i have not seen a doctor in 20+ years (don't follow this at all

at this point, if it hurts real bad and you don't think you'll be able to sleep because it's too painful, you really need to go to the emergency room to get it checked. i, personally, am usually pretty good in making decisions as to whether i'm seeing serious signs that would cause serious problems or if i could self-diagnose myself. if you have medical coverage, please visit your local doctor now, because it's better to have it checked this early. once again, drink a lot of water as well. take care, and give us an update on this. |

i don't think so. it wasn't sore or anything before i noticed the swelling. it's a bit sore at the moment, but not like any other time i've bit my tongue.

So I have a Panasonic plasma and over the past couple weeks, I've noticed a thin black bar running along the far left side of it. I haven't changed any settings since I first got the tv over a year ago. No matter what input I'm on, it's still there. I'm not sure if it's burn in or what.
There's a thin black border that runs around the entire tv but on the left side, it's slightly thicker and you can see the difference between the normal black border and the black bar that makes it look thicker. The thin border is 1/2 cm wide on the right side but on the left side with the thicker bar, it's 1 cm. Anyone have any ideas? |

I'm not sure. Do you know where that setting would be? I'm looking through the settings and can't find anything for overscan.
Edit: I found something online. It says I want Size2 for my HD Size setting and that's what I have. Last edited by RandyK; 07-20-2014 at 05:33 PM. |

It varies by year, but it for sure will be a submenu under the Picture settings. If that doesn't work, also try toggling between Just and Full which will also be under Picture.

A thing I noticed is that it's still there when I switch to 4:3, which uses grey bars on the sides. |
