We're gonna put you in a messed up situation and don't want you to hurt yourself or wreck the drill and still want production.

Umm...okay.

Sometime soon I gotta grab a brain and tell them no. Its difficult though, I love the challenge.

I'm going home after one more nightshift! Five of my last six weeks have been spent up here and I'm more than ready for some time off.

I nailed a deer going 80mph on I-70 outside of Hagerstown, MD back in 2007. Pulled over, collected myself and somehow my car was able to get back on the road. 2 miles down the road I am about 100 yards behind a truck that a deer darts out in front of, he swerves and flips his truck (work truck with ladders) about 8 times.

I'm the only one around, so I run up to the truck, he's dead. Call 911, yadda yadda yadda. Most cars behind me have pulled over and are out of their cars and we start trying to get the ladders out of the road, because the semi's are running over them at full speed in the left lane (with 20 people out of their cars on the side of the road I could just see one get spit out and killing another person). They eventually find some vitals and airlift him out via an adjacent field.

I had a hard time driving for a short while after that. The Dr. put me on Lexapro, which I stopped taking after a month or so. I've slowly felt the driving anxiety coming back for the past few years.

Anyway, I'm driving home today and I see the same mid-2000's Chevy with the same ladders. I immediately start hyperventilating. I pulled into the nearest gas station and thought I was going to pass out. After about 20 minutes of feeling like I was going to black out I was able to get back on the road.

So, yeah, I've got some stuff on my mind apparently.

A friend just had me buy a couple Disney dvds with my Amazon prime account because he needs them by Thursday and it was $47 for two DVDs. He wanted another (Beauty & The Beast) but it's going for $45 with no Prime options. God damn I would never spend that much on dvds but okay. I just feel like there has to be a much cheaper way to get them.

thinking about my best friend and his wife.

he called me earlier to tell me his dog had died of complications due to a heat stroke.

that dog was so awesome. my friend would always bring him along any time he came over and we would have a great time in the backyard playing tug-of-war with whatever he could find to chew on. he was always so happy and loved everyone he ever met or saw.

he was definitely a member of the family and we're all pretty broken up about it. especially considering he was only a little over 4 years old.

i sure will miss that dog.....

I'm wondering how Jennifer Lawrence is dealing with the recent stuff that has been going on. I really hope she's ok. She's a nice person, so I feel bad that this happened to her. But she seems like the type of person who will ride out this wave in style.

Because they are human, same reason everyone (regardless of occupation) takes nudes of themselves. We shouldn't judge others.
