- Valentine's Day is approaching and I think it's unfortunate that many dislike the day because it reminds them of their single status. I dislike it because it's pointless and over-commercialised. You don't need to be in a relationship to be happy. And buying your partner chocolates and flowers isn't going to prove you love them. It's all very impersonal.

- On another forum, a story has been posted about a young girl committing suicide and several people have said they consider such an act to be the most selfish thing a person is capable of. Personally, I think this 'suicide is selfish' argument is rubbish. Depression is a mental illness in which the person may not be thinking clearly, and besides, it's their life and they can do as they wish. You could say it's selfish of others to make the depressed one endure their misery for others' benefit.

- I've not heard Lady Gargoyle's new single, but everybody else seems to have done so. It's all they seem to be talking about but I'm still unable to see the appeal. I don't dislike her, but she's far from the epitome of brilliance. She's lyrically challenged and bizarre for the sake of it.

It's good eating. The sauces they use are pretty rich though. That's probably why they taste so good.

There is no debate possible on the fact that i.e. if a father of several kids and married with a job etc. ensuring his family's wellbeing commits suicide ... that's a selfish act.

I'll be married 8 years in a few months, with 2 kids, a house, 2 cars, medical bills, etc.

I can't decide which is the lesser of two evils: sorrow or anger. I find myself missing somebody, then I remind myself of just how selfish their intentions were and I want to punch them in the face. I think I'll settle for anger. I'm already an awfully contemptuous person so any additional hatred isn't going to be too harmful.
