I'm super curious when our new local movie theater opens. All I know is it's very soon. I can't wait to see the actual opening date. It's a movie bistro which is new to us here. Nice recliners, minimal seats per theater, serve food and booze....Pretty excited.

That sounds like the dine-in theaters at AMC.

It probably is. I've never been to anything like that before. I wouldn't have thought we'd get something like that around here. It's not a big chain like AMC or anything though. It's called Iron Horse Movie Bistro.

I've seen those in Minnesota but don't you have to get there super early and order your food? I'd rather just go to an actual restaurant before the movie.

I have no idea. This will all be new to me once it opens up. I'm excited to see firsthand. The food is only one aspect that excites me. The other is the comfy seats and there being minimal seats. It's an 8 screen theater and the picture I saw only showed like 40 seats max. No clue if each screen is like that.

I'm not sure when the Regal that I used to go to got these seats but they were new to me. I walked into what I believe is one of their biggest screens last night and I believe the max capacity was 50

That looks awesome to me. Keep it comfortable and personal. No need to be elbow to elbow in uncomfortable seats. If this new place loves up to what I'm hoping it'll be my main theater for big movies. I'll still need to go to the 20 screen Cinemark for the small and middle of the road releases.
