It used to be acceptable to have a beer during your lunch break, at work. It was also frowned upon to curse in public. Now, people curse at me like I'm a madman for having a beer, at lunch...or at like 8:00 in the morning. Correlation, or just an excuse to knock back a quick cold one and be about my day?

On my mind is the awesome run that The Edmonton Oilers had. The city and the people here needed that.

People need to mind their own damn business. One beer isn't going to hurt anything, even for the biggest light-weights. I say we protest coffee for a day and start off the day with a cold one.

Sometimes I just get finished drinking at 8 in the morning and people yell at me for laying on the ground... I'm taking a break, I can lay where I please.

Wondering if anyone actually likes Amy Schumer's stand-up acts. I have never found anything she said even remotely funny. Been looking up her filmography since my fiancee wants to go see Snatched tonight.

I don't like her either. I'm also wondering if anyone actually thinks Trevor Noah is funny. He's gotta be one of the unfunniest people alongside Seth Rogan.

I'm slowly starting to get over Amy's schtick. I've seen her live in person 5 times ever since she appeared on Last Comic Standing, many of those times in the front row and always got heckled by her which I loved. I align with her politically and we have a similar personality but I think she's just patently overexposed at this point. She's the Whitney Cummings, Sarah Silverman, to a certain extent Kathy Griffin of the current phase of comedy. She's making a ton of money and probably will for another year or two then fade into the background and have roles here and there.

I loved Mostly Sex Stuff and Live at the Apollo but the Leather Special fell flat to me. I had seen that actual routine live about 4 months prior so maybe that is why it fell flat.

Trainwreck was my third favorite movie of 2015 and I am going to see Snatched tomorrow but the trailers did absolutely jack shit for me so that worries me a ton.

The fact that I have an interview Wednesday morning, still waiting for my supervisor to approve the PTO. Not sure why they're dragging their feet, a job opportunity is far more important than whatever work I'd be doing for 2 hours. Especially since they said they care about me being able to better myself, that's what this job would be.

Wondering if my fiancee made it to the Philly area safely, she left this morning for a conference over the next 10 days and was supposed to send me a message when she arrived but she hasn't yet.

I got a call from the police saying they wanted me to call them back and freaked out. I'm right in the middle of Finals so this is the worst time. Apparently it's about a guy who threatened to do me harm (in person) a few weeks ago and nobody took me seriously; now he threatened an older gentleman everyone respects, so NOW the police are involved!

This is the last thing I need right now, I do NOT need the police scrutinizing me to any degree at this time! I cannot believe they gave the police my number with no consideration for what I'm dealing with and how it would freak me out; so frustrating. They want to lock him up now, but nobody at all had my back when it happened to me and now I'm supposed to drop everything to assist. Ugh!
