I'm surprised my nephew has never had a concussion, silly kid is always hitting his head on something.

So I started advising students yesterday. I am only on my 5th student. BUT the director sat in on the first one, made me so nervous I couldn't do math, but at least I didn't advise anyone wrong. Found out today that I wasn't doing the math wrong, they gave me a malfunctioning calculator and that is why I had to keep going back and catching my own errors. SO, now I have a fancy calculator. lol.
I also seem to be very involved with each of my sessions. My notes are about 2 paragraphs long and I have degree options, course descriptions, career planning, etc. whereas the others are just counting what they need and moving on.
Time in my office averages 20-30 minutes. Time in their office 5 minutes. :-\

The blacks aren't as black as I thought they would be. But I've only judged it from my 360 and Charter HD MOXI box. Somewhat unimpressed.

I don't have a Blu-ray yet and that's the ultimate judge I guess. I saw a 720p 51'' @ Sam's Club whose blacks seem so rich and colorful. I'm really not sure what's going on!

I have 90 days to return it, but the blacks look a bit greyish. I haven't calibrated it yet. Maybe that's an issue too. The Samsung's have IR from what I've heard and that's what pushed me from them!

Not sure what you got, but I suggest playing with the setting and calibrating it.

I tried out a Sharp a few months ago and it was just deplorable. I took it back within minutes for a Sony, and couldn't be happier. (That said, the Sony replaced a previous Vizio which, for the difference in price, didn't have that great a difference in quality for me).
