After a solid, relaxing weekend, woke up this morning with some pretty bad Monday morning blues. Thankfully, it's starting to subside as the day progresses. So crazy that Thanksgiving is next week, it arrived so fast.

I hate this time of year because it’s not even 6pm yet, however it feels like it’s 10pm because of how dark it is outside. I wish it didn’t have to get dark so early in November.

Thinking about renting a car on my "off" day Friday to visit family whom I haven't seen in 18 years. They only live roughly an hour from my hotel. The problem is I haven't seen them since I was 12 (I'm 30 now) and am semi-confident they'd likely not remember me.

Why have you not seen them for that length of time??

Did anyone else notice the forum change back to the classic skin earlier? It was on default but the forum was the classic layout so I simply changed it to classic and then back to Blu-ray style and now everything's back to normal. A bit strange...

I'm back to work after a 4-day weekend. I was hoping the day would feel like it was going by faster (even though it sucks coming back after a break, the "novelty" of change will sometimes kind of speed things along) but it's crawling. CRAWLING.

I wonder what goes through the minds of flaky drivers who never seem to know where they want to go.

Today there was a driver ahead of me who got out of the left lane into the right lane, then back into the left lane so she could get into one of the left turn lanes, then while waiting for the light to change got into the leftmost lane, then when the light turned green signaled right to get back into the other left turn lane so she could move one lane over yet again and go straight instead of turning left! Someone honked at her for cutting them off.

Was probably intoxicated, should've reported her to the police.

Cause I live in NY and they moved to Florida when I was young? The only correspondence was exchanging annual Christmas cards, hence the hesitation in going to see them while I'm in the area

Did you perform a Google search and click on one of the blu-ray.com links? I noticed when you click on a Google search result link the classic style is displayed and for whatever reason this defaults (changes) your style to the Classic option until you change it back.

starting to wonder what 50 is gonna be like.

my birthday is in a couple weeks. and while i won't be 50, i'll be another year closer and only a few away from 50.

i think when people get to a certain age, they start to look back more and more over their life. they contemplate how they've lived and what they've accomplished (or not accomplished).


at heart, i'm still a kid. i enjoy movies for the shear enjoyment of them. i don't try to disseminate them on any level and wonder "why this" or"why that". i just watch the movie, turn my brain off, lose myself, and enjoy it. i'm a geek by nature as i like science fiction, computer games, and star wars (most of all). i still get giddy christmas morning and can hardly sleep the night before. i love seeing the family come over to open presents and my mom making breakfast for everyone. and then i like to go up to my room and just hang out all day doing nothing but enjoying my gifts and then thinking about what i'm gonna buy with any gift cards i might have gotten.





so that's what's on my mind.....

It's not so bad. It's all about your attitude.
I'm lucky that I look 10-15 yrs younger and I also keep in shape. I do find though that I see my friends less and less every passing year. Whether they're married or have moved away, they just don't have time for much socializing. I just make new friends.

I should add that I'm not married or have kids or ever plan to. I'm a NYC bachelor forever. Maybe that's what keeping me so "young".


Anyway, I'm starting to wonder if there really is no more jail breaking for iOS. I'm still on iOS 8 because I think the apple ui is ugly and plain.

pretty much everyone i work with thinks i'm about 10 years younger than i really am, lol. i even had to show someone my id to prove my age as they didn't believe me.
