In all seriousness, probably play Xbox and watch a movie or something. I'm visiting family for the holiday weekend in my small hometown without my girlfriend. Not leaving until tomorrow afternoon, just wish this would go faster.

Heh I'm kinda bored too but I know I'm going to miss this free time once I'm taking a full classload while still training 5 days a week for marathons and working full-time. Oh well, it'll all be worth it once I have a masters and my car is paid off.

Getting a 4K tv may've been a mistake. The picture is so fricken good that I'll have upgratis fever for the picture in the living and movie rooms now. And that won't be cheap.

that's usually the way it goes, lol.

like when i went from dvd to blu-ray. i got a ps3 and had to use my computer monitor for high-def viewing. then, i got a high-def tv. then, i upgraded my avr, and then my speakers.

now, i wish i had the means to go 4k with atmos audio.

I still can't believe Atmos audio in the home is a thing, it's ridonculous in theatres, especially with CBMs.

i still remember when dts came out. i was amazed by that.

and if i'm being totally honest here, i've actually never heard atmos audio. i've just how good it sounds. hopefully, the news sw movie will utilize it so i can get a taste of it.

That $25.99 price for the LOTR extended trilogy is incredible. I'm not sure the pricing history on it so no idea if it's ever been that low.
Also have to keep the Target survey on my mind so I don't forget. I was telling this guy in electronics I was going to do one and mention him and that was t to butter him up but shortly after I said bye, I returned to ask him if I could get a slip for a movie and he said yes. I won't mention that in the comments field of the survey though

Just block the number, I've never responded to a text from an unknown number. Guessing they're all mistakes and if not, the person can tell me face to face.

Even after the law was recently passed that you can't be a left lane hog on the highway, I see the usual azzhats (usually in their monster trucks, BMW's and Suburbans) casually using the left lane as their own personal highway. I see people going around them to pass and most don't catch a clue and keep on going in the left lane.

I only drive in the left lane on the freeway because I'm usually going faster than most of the other cars. The one I don't understand is the people going 90+ but whatever, free work for the highway patrolmen.

As long as you are passing people and not just floating along at same speed as rest of the cars then you get no ticket, but if you are just cruising along thinking the road belongs to just you, and folks are piling up behind you, then you get yourself a nice $200 ticket.

Thanks for the heads-up, already cruise at 80 in 75s so I go faster than most but not fast enough to get pulled over. So many rules when I just want to get from A to B!

The drivers on the autobahn are pretty considerate. They know to pass on the left and then get back over into the right lane for cars that are going faster than them. There are sections where speed is limited so it's not like you're cruising the autobahn at whatever speed you want throughout the whole country. One of the things you have to be careful when you're driving is really checking your mirrors and turning your head when you make a lane change to pass someone. In the States, you may accidentally pull in front of someone already in the fast lane going 85 or 90 but there, you may accidentally pull in front of someone going 150+. I only did that one time but the guy wasn't going that fast and he didn't honk or get upset. Once I realized what I did, I gunned it to pass the car that had been in front of me and then got back over in the right lane as soon as I could.
And another thing, you see a lot of German cars in Germany
