Co-worker put the charts for a department audit in the charts to put away section. Sometimes I really wonder how people function without hurting themselves.

Last night that girl and I were texting for hours. We were constant text replies within 2 minutes of our messages.

I then said I'm not looking to jump into a relationship right away. That's when things got really quiet and I haven't heard back from her since.

I'm thinking, was it something I said?

LOL you probably should've kept the no relationship stuff to yourself till you got to know each other better.

Yep, tossing out relationship talk too early is a FAIL. You probably won't be hearing from her any longer. Sorry dude.

Doesn't it depend on what she's looking for?

If she is looking for a relationship, why is she going to allocate time into a person who isn't looking for a relationship?

However, he should try and see what she's looking for instead of apologizing for being honest.

Women are fickle creatures, you have to walk on egg shells around them. Really shouldn't have brought up anything about a relationship so soon. Should've gotten to know her a little more then ask her out after a couple weeks or so.

Yeah, way too early for relationship talk. They are fickle indeed. The way I like to think of it is each day, everything resets itself. You may have been Cary Grant the night before but the next day you're chopped liver, until you prove you're Cary Grant again (if you get the chance to prove it again). It's also hard to build any kind rapport through texting since it's so detached. I've made the mistake of overtexting many a time. You need to get to the meet up asap.

Bumble. I asked why she joined. Her response was it was hard for her to meet new people outside of work. So I took it as she not using the app for dating purposes.
