I just received an email from the newspaper saying due to weather my paper may be as much as three hours later than normal tomorrow. It hasn't even started snowing yet. They must know something I don't. This could be some real wrath of God type stuff coming our way.

if they mention the word "snow" on the news, all the schools start closing for the next day.

and most times it's sunny and in the upper 30s; where it wouldn't even snow even if it was precipitatin'.

It's only the second movie in my entire near-32 years of life that I had to stop under 30 minutes in. I would almost rather give the first one (Napoleon Dynamite) another chance before continue watching this 🤬.

Halle Berry one? Yeah, it is pretty bad lol. Very rarely do I feel one way or another about a movie, but mine was Disney's The Lone Ranger. I had a discounted ticket and I wanted it and the 0.50 cent difference back when I was done. I liked it better when it was POTC: CotBP

Thinking I want a part-time job.. stash all the money I would made and save it and/or just pay all of it towards some credit cards. I don't need the extra job but the extra cash would do wonders. It's why I uber on weekends but that hasn't been reliable lately.

Had a massive rainstorm here last night. Nonstop pouring rain for hours that I had to drive in. Made it home fine, was pretty scary though especially after all those scary videos my girlfriend and I watched all evening.

Same here and just a few house down from me we have a spot on our road ( at an intersection and an S-curve) that floods.

A total of 3 cars flooded out and/or went off the road.
At one piont I was out there with a flashlight waving people to stop and to turn around, till the police showed up and blocked the road

Thinking about giving myself a buzz cut or paying a local barber to do it for me. I haven't got my hair cut that short in years, I could probably handle it myself but I'm a bit nervous about getting the back and sides just right.

I thought about doing the same but the clippers I have are for facial hair so they're not as big as a pair used for ones head. Should there be an apostrophe there? Hmmmmm
I love getting my hair cut with the clippers. We had to get our haircut every week in the Marine Corp. I would often go off base to get it cut. Prices were so cheap back then. I think because it was kind a military town, the prices were lower than most places. I remember one time this cute woman cut my hair at the barber on base. I had hit her up at Dillard's in the mall Before I saw her on base. She had a BF or husband I guess. Well she recognized me and as she was cutting my hair, something fell onto my lap and landed right on my...and she giggled as she picked it up lol

In Japan, I only got my hair cut on base and it was by Japanese civilians and you would get a nice massage when you were done. And while I was recovering in Ireland after my car accident, I got a shave at a Turkish barber and it was the first and only time I've ever gotten a full shave at a shop

My daughter wants to get her hair cut so I decided to just wait until tomorrow and have the initial buzz done by a local stylist, they run a $10 promo on Mondays for men and kids. After that maybe I'll feel comfortable in managing it myself.

i've been cutting my own hair for years. i use clippers with a 1/4" guard all over.
