I have a dentist appointment at 9:30 tomorrow morning to have work done in preparation for getting a crown on one of my molars. Ugh. Not exactly something I feel like doing that early in the morning.

Ugh, I hate doing it that early too....
I've got a Dentist appt. at 3:30pm tomorrow for a follow-up to having implant posts put in the left upper gum. (into the jawbone )

i'm not a fan of going to the dentist, either. but i'd rather go early and get it over with.

Nobody likes going to the dentist but try going in for a visit at an office with only ONE dentist and several patients already lying around on different chairs waiting for service. I was one of those patients. My legs were so numb when he was through I had to jog in place for several minutes. No one should have to be subjected to having cotton stuffed in their mouths for more than 2 hours at a time.

That sounds horrible. At the place I go to, there was only one dentist originally but it was a small facility so not always that many patients there at one time. Now there are two dentists working there.

Just got back from my appointment. It went a lot better than I thought it would, since I'd never had work done for a crown before. This new dentist was really great. The worst part was when they went to make the mold of my tooth. They had to do it three times because something messed up the first two times. Sitting there having to bite down on the molding material for five minutes while trying not to gag (since I sometimes gag easily) wasn't too pleasant. But otherwise, it all went pretty smoothly. Now I go back in three weeks to have the crown attached. I have a temporary one on right now.

And man, with all the advances in technology over the years, you'd think by now somebody would have developed some less shrill dental tools. Those drills are so high pitch they really do a number on your ears. Listening to those has always been one of the more unpleasant experiences of the dentist for me.

That's nothing how bout when you get Novocaine shot... That big long needle, and they tell you your going to feel a pinch especially when it's your upper jaw behind nose...

I've had some painful novocaine shots before but in recent years that dentists I've seen have been really great at administering it. Sometimes it's just a very slight pinch or like this morning I didn't even feel it at all. I guess some dentists are better at it than others.

Stressing about getting everything packed up before our pod gets here at the end of May. Not to mention selling a couple of cars and making sure my son's caught up on his school too. The buyer for our house is also driving us to distractions.

She's constantly needing to swing by for this or that. I kind of feel like she's playing dumb and taking advantage of our generous nature. My Mrs is definitely fit to be tied once she found out she was at the house for 5 hours getting appraisals on window replacements and then put cinder blocks under the front porch without talking to me about it first.

I sent a text to my Mrs telling her that we need to find out if the buyer plans to do any outside projects once the house closes on the 20th. Because I can't have her tearing up the porch before we move out. Really wish I could tie one on, but I've barely got time at this point. Well, back to it I guess.

Why are you goings moving in the first place? I can't recall if you had said earlier or not. Moving pretty far, right, to Texas?

She still sat next to me, smiled and said "hello." I didn't acknowledge her as she waved to me. I kept my interactions to a minimum.

if you have no interest if being just her friend, then i wouldn't worry about it, at all.

I saw her as a friend but ever since what she said to me, I see her as being fake now.

People normally don't treat their real friends like that. Just that you're asking that question seems to indicate that she's not really a genuine friend of yours or you wouldn't be asking that question. I mean, who would treat a real, genuine friend in that manner? If she is really a true friend, I would just talk to her about how you feel about the situation & be honest. From your posts about her though, it seems like she's merely a friendly acquaintance of yours & if that's the case, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
