True what you just said; only very very few players can play hi res DVD-Audio discs, but all Blu-ray players can play hi res Blu-ray Audio discs...Pure Audio.

Blu-ray Audio has more advantages over DVD-Audio.

• 24/192 capability (5.1 vs 2.0)
• 24/96 capability (7.1 vs 5.1)
• During high resolution audio you can have HD video (1080p24/1080i60) vs still JPEG
• BD-Live (Neil Young uses this on the Archives Blu-ray to eliminate double dipping by making new content available to purchasers of the Blu-ray Disc only)
• All audio and video portions of the disc are compatible with ALL Blu-ray players, SACD and DVD-A required a special player
• Supported by all MAJOR labels, no format war like SACD vs. DVD-A
• Massive storage capacity difference (50GB vs 4.7GB for DVD-A)

No, Blu-ray simply upgraded DVD, video and audio wise.
Like 4K UHD upgraded 1080p Blu, video and audio wise (HDR10+, Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos).

There's a movie item on Dark Horizons that I wanted to share with this forum. Now Dark Horizon does not break a single story, ever. They're 100% aggregation, other than the occasional piece of content they create on their own. The pros and cons of aggregation sites are a whole separate topic.

Anyway, since I know they only report what other sites report, I was going to link to that site instead. The Dark Horizons story linked to Coming Soon. So I go to Coming Soon, but in their story I see that all they did was aggregate it from Deadline! So then I went there and that's indeed where the news originated.

33rd birthday tomorrow.
Just realized it'll probably be the last one with my dad alive.
So... that's a mind****.
Was just going to treat it as any other day, but think I'll have lunch at some place nicer for both of us.
Make as many memories as possible with the time we have left.

Weekends are 2 days long, work days are 5 days long.

Also keep on mind, some people only get 1 day off, so their work week is 6 days long.
