I'm wondering if I should contact my agent or car insurance company regarding the refund that is owed to me. It's been almost 3 weeks. I am not in desperate need of the money, but I would like to deposit it into my savings account for safe keeping and earn a bit of interest.

Mixed feelings about my final grades but considering I was worried about not even passing a couple of these classes earlier in the term, two Bs, a B+ and a B- isn't so bad. Going by percentages, I was really close to 3 As and a B so I'll take it and move on. Hoping for better in the fall, of course. Time to get ready for work.

probably.

and while i do mostly post only in this part of the forum, i do care about movies. it's just i never post in any of the movie threads, because.....i really don't know. hell, there's certain forums on here that i've never even ventured into, lol.



ot: i'm wondering what this mandatory meeting is about at my "job", later today. it's the only thing that's been on my schedule for ~3 weeks. i can take a guess and say it's the meeting everyone has been talking about for a couple months now. and that's the rumor that they're doing away with the department i work(ed) in and transferring it to the international/overseas offices. and while i didn't particularly like the job, it was a source of income and it's been damn difficult to find another job. apparently, i'm not even good enough to get a job somewhere like lowe's or home depot. i guess those 20+ years of customer service and management experience don't mean anything at a place like that.

I'm a bit like sk33tr on this. I pop my head in a few and quickly do an about face. Because you can't have a discussion on anything if there is a mob mentality or a general sense of superiority. So I've got maybe 5-8 threads I'm active in. 3 of those are what am I watching/buying.

I guess it depends on how many hours you work in those 4 days. My wife is up and out the door by 0500 to get to her office by 0630 to see patients at 0700 and gets home around 1830-1900 depending on traffic. So by Thursday she's a zombie by the time she gets off. Even if she's working a half day. Looking forward to this being her last week at work and our new life in another state soon. Just need to get the projects wrapped up around here before we do.

My young neighbours have another couple over and I think their child is off with a grandparent or something. They're partying and are loud. I was woken from a nap, but ain't gonna say anything to them. It's the afternoon and they've never said anything to me when my music or movies are cranked.
I sure would like to finish my nap though.

Take a nap for both of us. I'm resisting the urge and headed out to the yard. I'f I'm lucky I can get a decent nights sleep. I literally did yard work in the back 40 by the light of my truck

Finally heard back from the buyer of our house. Who is playing dumb again. No person who plans like she does should be surprised that a crew is showing up at their house Can't wait to see what my wife's response to that was.

She says I'm much nicer than I look and she's much meaner than she looks. So it always takes someone aback when she goes sideways on them and I'm just standing there with a smirk on my face

I preordered the Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai steelbooks from Deep Discount because I saved a few bucks with a code, free shipping and no tax, even though I don't like them anymore as a business. My package arrived today in the typical and horrible corrugated cardboard mailer, but fortunately my steelbooks were fine.

What was even more surprising, however, was that whoever packed my order also stuck in the Arrow release of Cinema Paradiso by mistake. Do I keep it? Return it?
