It's a fair drive from where I live, but I don't mind long distances to visit somewhere really good, and this certainly does look it. Thanks for the recommendation.
No problem sir. We stayed I. The Grey Room which has a grand long dining table and quite possibly the eeriest bedroom in England. Mind you, we payed £100 for a one night stay including the tour. Worth every penny for the experience. It was great looking out of the window and seeing the courtyard at night. Wonderful. If you ever do stop, I think the agree room is by far the best room to stay in to get the best experience. If you are easilly creeped out though, (speaking to everyone now) I would think twice.

Not a problem for me mate. Sounds like a great experience.
It would be nice to spend a few days around the area. I've always heard Northumberland National Park is very nice, but have never explored the north-east of England apart from parts of Yorkshire. It's only the western half of the country I know fairly well from Cumbria right down to Cornwall.

I know Bowness (Lake District) exceptionally well as we holiday there quite a bit.

By the way, if you get the chance look up Chillingham cattle. (That’s not a typo)

Excellent. I half expected Google to give me the Castle website instead.

If you're ever in Derbyshire, I highly recommend the Peak District, which is fairly close to where I live. Lots of small picturesque towns and villages, and plenty of attractive scenery where you can walk for miles and not meet anyone. Of course, lots of cosy pubs too.

I’m not a pub person at all, but that chance of walking miles without any other people sounds dreamy. cheers for that Mate. Looks great.

It's actually one of the appeals of early morning running, until you start running into other people on the trail.

You're welcome. The pubs I mean are more restaurant-type pubs which will serve you fantastic meals. However some of them only serve during the lunch and evening times, whilst others serve meals all day long.

I can imagine. I’m not a morning person at all though so running early would be a challenge. I can barely be bothered to make my porridge!

Well you won't go far wrong over here if you're a morning runner. Mind you, if you live in the States, that's quite a distance to come just for that.

So Rachel Meghan Markle (how many people knew her first name is also her character name on Suits?) I guess gets the title of princess, being married to a prince. But what about her pre-existing kids? Do they get the royal upgrade as well?

She doesn't have kids. She's not getting a Princess title. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Oops. I thought she had a kid with Trevor, my mistake.

Wouldn’t that be a downgrade for Harry, going from prince to duke?

I don’t know how royal titles work.

As Steel said, still a Prince. That's just another formal title. HRH Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Here's an article explaining it.

Read the entire article, and it introduces more questions than answers. "HRH" is used 9 times in the article and not once does it say what that means. What’s HRH?

Why do people visit member's personal pages? I've had 11,000+ people visit my page, among them a recent visit from Walter Olsen, the Scorpion Insider and a moderator. There's no useful info on those pages, just stats and public messages from other members. Just curious.
