He did say the burned ( broken off wire ) means the next time ( and it could be anytime )
it will go out again and at that time it will be a compresser replacement .

The burned off wire is a sign that the compress is getting old and could go at anytime....

The Car
Oh, and I just got back ( Service Shuttle ) from dropping the car off to get the damn squealing pulley system looked at again
on the 1995 Ford Taurus .
Over the last few years they've replaced the alternator, Pulley tensioner and the thing still starts doing it again.

other than this, it's a nice and "comfortable" car to drive, and my bad back loves the seats in it.
Our Mazda 626 ( 4cyl ) gets better gas mileage, but I hate driving it, it kills my back.

thinking how lazy does someone have to be to use a computerized voice on a youtube video. and they're mostly on "news feeds". it's just so damn annoying. as soon as i hear it, i close the page.

come on, people. put some actual effort into it and speak.

It’s so annoying every time I hear it. There is only ONE exception, and that’s if the guy is medically mute. But not a single video I found has that declared in the description or on the channel page.

And a lot of times they get the words wrong!

I've listened to a lot of these videos you are talking about, the voice is so bad so many
times that I've taken to also clicking on the subtitles as well.

That's when I really noticed how often they get words wrong a lot,
once I was able to see the word the automated voice was butchering and I couldn't understand

Picked up a new fuel filter for the Jaguar. Hoping this fixes the issue with the car not staying on longer than 30 seconds. Stressing on my BiL getting all of his shit cleared away before the deadline. 6 more days I get the rental truck to go out and pack up my MiL stuff. 2 or 3 days after that the trailer pod gets here. Thankfully the Mrs has helped and been sending me out to trips to the local donation store. Really hoping Texas has Value Village like ours. Not to mention the road trip goes smoothly. Sounds like we might have to leave the Jaguar with the neighbor a few days if we want to get it sent out to Texas. Because they'd beat us there. I almost feel like telling my wife that we just need to step up getting out there. None of this every few hours we stop stuff. Really wish I was making this trip on my own.

I'm replacing the exterior door going out to the deck as a result of wood rot at the base of the door frame and it dawned on me last night that I'd probably need to contact my alarm company about this due to the sensor on the door. Welp, sure enough there's a possibility that if the contractor can't work around the wire that I'll need to have the security company come out for another $80 visit or I'll have to switch to a wireless option to piggy back on top of my wired system for $200. So frustrating being a home owner sometimes.

all of our door sensors are wireless. i didn't think they still did the whole "wired" thing. of course you probably use a totally different alarm company than i do, so i guess there's the possibility of different companies using different things.



but still....wires? that's so last millennium.

Make sure you don't have any mold growing anywhere. I had an issue with a back door once and in the process of re-framing the door we found out there was black mold in the kitchen sub floor from water penetration.
