All I can say is just get up the next morning, and do whatever it is you normally do in th morning
and than just go from there.

No trick to it that I know, you just have to work through it however seems best for you.
that's pretty much how i did it.

I went back to work almost immediately after my dad died. His death was unexpected so we got hit pretty hard. It helped get me through some rough days.

My Mom is fighting her stage 4 cancer right now and she hopes to live long enough to see my niece graduate nursing school. She's inoperable.

Taking it one day at a time and doing the best you can is all you can do.

Sorry for your loss too BWBODDY -
Yeah I been trying keep my regular schedule - I've taken 2 weeks off from work cuz I don't think I will be able to focus well. I drive vehicles sometimes and don't want to be behind the wheel.

Any ideas on where I can find like-minded that want to talk/enjoy/discuss where to get them on BD/DVD (hard to acquire for USA ... English lang. & English sub-titles) Scandi-Noir/Nordic Noir?

Trying to decide whether or not I want to use the $5 E-card from Red Sparrow on Only The Brave which is already at a nice $9.99 price. I've got that $5 and three $5 Reward Zone certificates with another $15 worth pending. Looking forward to Target's sale tomorrow. I wish it started today!

I was thinking about price-matching Red Sparrow at Best Buy and I've got $40 in rewards. $13 is a really good buy, but I didn't like the movie all that much at the theater. Guess I'm just going to wait it out and see if something else comes up that I want.

$40 is awesome. So much of my spending at Best Buy this year has been for my sourcing thread where I help other people so thanks to those people for all their spending I'm actually helping a Danish member, about to ship his package off later today, and he's gifting me the Red Sparrow 4K which I really appreciate. That film has brought me into contact with some generous people

I had a ****ed up dream!
My girl & I were in a city for a trip! Then it became like an action film.
I got shot in the collar bone and nothing happened. I was like wolverine. HHaha

Then I woke up.

So sorry for your loss.

We lost our baby in '91 & my wife just had one of her sister (she had down syndrome & died @ 61 yrs. old ... lived quite a long time for her condition) die last month. She lost her mother not that long ago & her father a little bit of time ago.

My father died in '65 & my mother in '72, grandparents also when I was too young & I still miss everyone alot till this very moment.

Death stings so much that it will never leave me.

They can put on my tombstone "Go home I'm not here"

Sorry to here about your loss & your mother's stage 4 cancer ... my wife had cervical cancer stage 4 awhile back & is cancer-free to this day, despite the doctors not giving her a chance unless they performed a hysterectomy, which we did not do. did work for us as well as an Amish healer's herbs/juicing cancer formula for 9 months!

Before hopping into the shower, the Jays had just taken the lead 2-1 over the O's. I get out and they're leading 8-1. Am I disappointed to miss all those runs? Or am I happy that the Jays have a good lead?
Hmmm.
(It's 13-1 now)

How come wine is more socially acceptable than other alcohols? If you saw two guys walking down the street, one holding a bottle of wine and the other holding a bottle of vodka, a lot of people will "see" them differently due to certain stereotypes.

First I'd wonder why the bottles weren't in a bag.

The wine culture is huge right now.

After Ocean’s 8 has been out for a while, do you think they’ll do a boxset with 11, 12, and 13 included?

You'll probably have to wait till after 9 & 10 ( they did call it Ocean's 8 for a reason )
