I had my ears stretched to an inch but eventually got them sewn up. What was the purpose of it? Because I wanted to. I also have thousands of dollars in tattoos, but what's the purpose? They're just things I want.

Also, I've looked at plenty of girls nipples poking through their shirts and have never been 'yelled at'? Maybe you're just looking a little too long..

My girlfriend has hers done, and I honestly don't care who looks and neither does she. She never wears a bra either, but I'm not going to get all defensive if I catch a guy looking at her boobs when we're out.

I can't see a full sleeve costing $9,000 unless you're going to the best tattoo artist in the world or something. I would say $2,000-$3,000 would probably be average.

I said sleeve tattoos. Notice the s as in plural. Two sleeves, both arms.

Also notice I said "upwards" because price varies depending on location of the tattoo parlor, color vs gray, overall skill of the artist, etc.

I know people that spent over that much on their arms already.

It definitely depends on who you’re going to. My artist charges $100 an hour, and most places charge per hour for custom (non-flash) work. This is the first piece, and first sitting, of my Dawn of the Dead sleeve, and it was around $400.

Before and after of our septic line project...

Before:

After:

Still some work to do. Seed and feed left to go plus some cosmetic work on the flower beds. Still looks ten times better than that stupid busted concrete the previous owners laid down.

They did and it screwed up the septic line coming from downstairs. We had to replace a section and used couplers because the weight had damn near busted the original apart. It was already leaking when we dug.

A few months ago we were having problems with backups downstairs and got some guys out to empty the septic tank. They saw the concrete and what happened was exactly what they thought it was.

So, it's a good thing we did this when we did. Otherwise, it would have been messier and more costly. The equipment rental and what I bought from Lowes cost less than $500.

Now, all we have left is the cosmetic work with seed and feed, and a flower bed.

$500 is certainly WAY cheaper than the alternative if you hadn't done what you did, when you did, lol. thank goodness you caught it when you did and got it fixed.

putting in an entire new septic system is not fun OR cheap.

Tattoos and septic tanks. Sounds like a country song.

Well you can do the only Uncle Like thing....
[Show spoiler]Go and eye spy on her, make sure she's okay, and you'll get a chance to experience the world.

I mean it's not like those Taken movies are based on actual stuff.... Is it??

Thinking how I really don't want to go to work today but at least it's Tuesday and not Monday.

I can't believe how much I love M*A*S*H, I bet even now that I'm about half-way through season 4 on Hulu, I probably haven't seen half of it. So much of it will be new to me when I see it during this 11 season marathon.

At least tonight I get to hit the gym after I eat dinner and water the plants.

You know how social media group think likes to pile upon anything and everything regardless of whether any facts are known? Has anyone ever apologized for being wrong?

Yes. Just types "oops, my bad" and then disappearing for about a week in hopes everyone forgets.

I got my passport about three years ago and haven't used it yet. Currently saving up my vacation time (it's accrued) so I can go for two or three weeks next year. Gonna try the whole backpacking thing, two or three days in each city.

i have no (real) plans to ever leave this country; so a passport isn't a necessity for me. and i can't justify the cost of one, right now, anyway.

Wondering what I ate in the last 48 hours which is leaving my stomach in knots right now. Been in the bathroom six times over the last hour, ended up severely dehydrated to the point that I almost passed out. Took the plunge and called into work sick, something I rarely do unless I have to, but I don't feel like suffering at work in this condition only for it to potentially worsen and ruin my upcoming vacation.

keep drinking fluids.

you may give them back later in the bathroom. but just keep drinking more to replace them. you don't want to end up dehydrated and in the hospital.

I have someone's Netflix account on my TV for the time being, and going through their movie listings, I have to say the amount of titles they boast is all about quantity, not quality. So much direct-to-video crap scattered among the known titles, and even half of those known titles are crap. It's like browsing a Blockbuster Video in the 90s, only with less skin flicks and more of everything else.
