The "What's on your mind?" thread

I stopped wearing socks all of a sudden and I'm loving it. It's just too ****ing hot to wear socks. I feel like I'm walking on clouds without them. Is this considered unsanitary or something?

Oh you should! I'm not sure what movie buffs think of the film but I enjoyed it simply because of the material. I actually have a History Channel documentary on the brothers as well that I enjoy.

It's...gross at least. In this weather I just prefer -

dri fit shirt or tank top.
Shorts
No show socks so they heat my legs less

Gross. I'll do it maybe if I'm running to the store real quick and know I'll only be gone a couple minutes.

i NEVER listen to so-called "movie buffs". i prefer to make up my own mind.

but i do remember seeing the previews for it back when it first came out and wanting to see it.



and to those commenting on socks/no socks...please tell me y'all don't wear socks with sandals. don't do that....don't be that guy.

Seriously? There's a whole industry that produces hot weather footwear intended to be used without socks so what's the problem? I slap a bunch of powder on my feet anyway I don't like wearing ankle socks or whatever they're called because it feels like I have something dangling on my feet. It's like wearing a belly shirt or something lol

To each their own. I only wear Vans Authentics, and I hate the look of socks sticking out of them. So I only wear no-show socks.

How can I get a hold of a moderator on this site? I have a couple questions that I'd love to get answered, because I'm confused on some of the rules and why they do and don't apply to everyone.

Eh, it depends on the situation. There are things that neither my wife or I want to share with one another, but confide in friends. I kind of touched on this in one of the other threads recently. I’m usually a pretty open guy about how I’m feeling or what’s on my mind at the time. But I’m not a fan of people who are fishing for information. I’ll tell you what I want you to know.

The moderator list is at the bottom of the page or you can click on the report button on the post in question. That last one can be a crapshoot though. Because I definitely notice a bias moderation, but it depends on the forum or thread. Personal feelings or opinions should never interfere with doing ones job.
Whether it is in a forum or in the real world.

I wear shoes constantly, unless I'm coming up from the garage after taking off my work boots, then I wear closed toe sandals. Being a runner has made me very cognizant of protecting my feet.

No, no, no... not you. I'm saying when I have brought this up in the past other members tell me, "if you don't like it, find another site," or "who cares what you think," or "don't ruin it for others." Like you mention there seems to be a bias and I'm curious if I'd get an answer with some depth to it beyond what I mentioned.
