2-3 people have been fired here @ work within the last couple of weeks……

Thankfully they were related to attendance issues……which I don’t have to worry about.

I have 1 call in within the last year and a half.

We don’t get sick days, we get salary continuation. The kick to the ‘ol bag is if u use salary continuation, it counts against your year end raise.

Well apparently my blood sugar has been 100+ only 3 times in the past month so I'd say I probably don't need that diabetes cooking class that I can't take anyway since I work Wednesday nights. I may look into buying a diabetes cookbook or two if I like the recipes inside them.

I couldn't figure out why toothpaste makes me gag and now I know why, a lot of toothpaste has sugar in it, guess I will have to look for sugar free the next time I buy some.

Don't worry, diabetes is genetic so eventually you will also be wishing you could mentally control your blood sugar to make diabetes go away.
