I hate when you go into a department store knowing which cologne you want.. but the sales people try to sell you something else.

I went in to Macy's to get my usual Bleu De Chanel.. and two different sales people came up (not sure how that works, they sell different brands?) and one tried to recommend two other brands but I said I wanted my usual Chanel and she said "oh well that one has tobacco in it" and walked off like a little kid.

Then the one who sold me the Chanel tried to get me to buy Dior Sauvage (which I had a bottle of for over a year and tired of) and Yves Saint Laurent which I had no interest in.

Just give me what I want and go.

An employee was following me once, I turned around and asked why he was following me, he said he wasn’t, I then asked to see manager. I didn’t see him again the rest of that visit. He never went for the manager, he just left me alone, which is all I really wanted anyway.

Well you kind of have to talk to an employee at department stores because the fragrances are kept behind a glass counter.

Just found out Orchard Supply Hardware is going out of business and closing all stores by the end of year. One of the locations in my area sits right next to a now-empty Toys-R-Us. Sad...

What's on my mind is I'm seriously thinking of not joining group buys for premium overseas steelbooks anymore. I just shelled out $61 and some change shipping for a box set from FilmArena

What's on my mind is how long it is going to take me to straighten out my Blu-ray collection after I tripped into the shelving. Stuff went everywhere. It's total chaos.

This is not going to be simple.

What you're imagining is most likely exactly what it looked like.

funnily enough...it kind of just happened to me.

there's a shelf above my desk. it's high up on the wall and i put my collector's edition movies/tv shows up there. well, i was just sitting here on the computer, looking something up, and all of a sudden, 6 of them came crashing down.

none of them hit me, or broke anything on the desk or my dresser that sits next to it. but a couple of corners got a bit banged up. nothing major, just some paint flaked off, that sort of stuff. but it scared the hell out of me when it happened.

and the reason they did was because the shelf was leaning forward just a bit. it's a floating shelf and i guess the bracket i made wasn't a perfect cut on the backside and it made it lean forward a bit. so i went out to my shop, cut some shims, pulled the shelf off the bracket, loosened the lag screws enough to push the bracket up a bit, and pushed the shims up under the bottom edge of the bracket. now, it tilts back just a tiny bit. but i'd rather it tilt back than forward.

but i gotta tell ya, when it happened the very first thing i thought of was your post, lol.

So I only bought this a couple of weeks ago, and already my balls are experiencing major shrinkage. They were big and took up nearly the entire container. They are scented to provide a pleasent lavender accent to the natural air aroma.
