Next time my wife gets angry I'm gonna put a cape on her and say "now you are Super Angry." She's either gonna laugh or I'm gonna die.

They became so stupid when phones became smart.

I believe Socrates was the one who said he knew nothing and then other people said that's what made him smarter than everyone else. He was the only one who admitted it.

like my neighbor always says..."nobody's ever accused me of being smart."

but he's one of the smartest people i know. maybe not book sense, but he has life sense and common sense. and he's one of the nicest people i've ever known.

I once had a car that I loved putting money into, modifying it and such. I would spend free time in the garage, upgrading something. Then I sold that car and got something I had no interested in modifying, so I started getting back into movies hardcore. That car has since been totaled and I just got a new one two days ago that I can't wait to play around with and start buying parts for.

Long story short, I can feel my interest in movies going down and my interest in cars going back up. Anyone else ever feel this way about something? Whether it be cars, music, lawn care, whatever..?

Absolutely. I used to want to see movies at the theater every week, looking forward to each new release, checking out stuff. Outside of a few movies or long-time fandoms I have I don't care at all anymore. I've got back into crafts, learned to cross-stitch, taking up new sports, getting back into my faith, just kinda...finding other things to occupy my mind and body with.

Of course, a lot of people only have enough money for one hobby at a time. There have been plenty of times I had to stop doing something so I could start doing something else. I’d like to do both things, but I’m not a millionaire.

I use to get two free movie tickets per week (every Tuesday) because my former cable company owned a chain of movie theaters and it was one of the perks. So I’d go see a movie (sometimes two*) every Tuesday. Then I switched cable companies, and now I hardly ever go to the movies.

*The two free tickets didn’t have to be for the same movie, sometimes I’d go alone and watch two movies playing that day. Other times I’d bring someone and see one movie. In a way, it rewarded single people, since they could see two free movies lol

I can't believe that I don't own this album. I need to do something about it.

Sure, I've felt this way, but for me movies are more than just a hobby so they're not something I'll set aside in favor of doing something else. I guess part of the reason for that is I don't really do anything else. I don't bar hop, go to clubs, hang out on stoops or even date. Nothing pleases me more than coming home after a long day at work, getting comfortable and watching a movie. On weekends I do the same thing. And since I have a huge pile of unwatched discs I feel like I'll have something to do indefinitely. Honestly, I don't know what I would've done with myself had I been living during the 70's when TVs were small and round and there were only three networks

Am I the only one who wants to know what it's like to experience going through a black hole?
