I totally agree with you on this! Back when I used to work retail, whenever you'd call in sick to the Manager On Duty, they'd make you feel like you're hurting the business by not being there and some would even go as far as to recommend different types of medicine for you to take and to call back in an hour or so if you felt better. I never called back.

If I'm sick, I'm sick. I'm not working like that.

It's about five minutes to 5pm and I'm in line with, I dunno, a few hundred people. I have 13 movies to source for other people and then I have myself. I'm wondering if I should just come back later when it's not as packed. The line is moving and it shouldn't be a whole lot longer.
Also, a couple of the people I'm sourcing for, and myself, like the cardboard so I want to be there early when I have the best chance of getting slips. I'll continue to wait.
