The musician Hozier took the popular music world by storm back in 2014 and it took this guy until now (soon to be early 2019) to deliver his follow up? Jeez, talk about a major sophomore slump. I know he blew up fast and was everywhere but even so, 3 years is a long time to be out on the road and making appearances and such before your second album is released, but four?! Yeesh.

WELL, after watching about 5 different women explain why they hated the Captain Marvel Trailers
( turns out it the same reason all the white "female hating" men do ), I thought I'd share the one that I liked the most..

This is also the "safest langage" one I watched, and it made me laugh as well

i don't mind a girl playing a superhero. whether it's a white girl or a black girl makes no difference to me. i don't even mind a girl being the main character in a story/movie. as long as she does a good job in the role, i'm all for it. as long as the role (in this case a comic book character) was written with a girl in mind (in one incarnation or another), i'm all good with it being that way in the movie.

one of the issues i have is with the actor, herself. i'm not a fan of brie larson due to her political views. does that mean she can't do a good job in this role? no, of course not. she may be perfect in this role. she may be awesome in this role. but that doesn't mean i have to like her as an actor or as a person (even though i don't know her personally).

also, i really hope they don't put any political/feminist bullshit in this movie like hollywood is known to do on more than a few occasions. i don't need to hear about anyone's political ideologies or feminist views in a movie.
