I've been getting weird messages on my landline's answering machine. It's never a complete message because it cuts off but the last part goes something like "this is not a solicitation so please listen to this message entirely. There is currently a motion to suspend all bank accounts bearing your name and social security number" yada yada yada. I'm very good at spotting scams or potential fraud but these calls are starting to give me headaches. For starters, the caller sounds American (no Indian accent). Anyone else get these? Opinions?

Scams. They want you to call and “verify” your information.

I get these on my cellphone all the time. Same for those “suspend your MasterCard accounts” messages. It’s just a trap for the gullible. Block them on your landline (check your provider for the number code) and forget about it.

I use it, have for years. It's the closest thing I've been able to find for an authentic movie theater popcorn flavor.

So sorry to hear that stvn1974, my wife and I know all too well how much that hurts

We lost 2 ourselves this year a ( Mother ) Jewel and ( Daughter ) Missy.....

After a few months passed we decided to give our big boy Bobby someone else to torolate
We brought home a rescued, abandoned, 3 yr old girl from the Shelter and named her Mia.

He is a Big Boy
And he did cry ( meowed and looked for them all the time ) and was very depressed after the 2 girls passed.
He started acting like himself again after we brought Mia home, which just means he acted like he could care less
( But he did stop meowing and looking for the girls after Mia arrived )

About how we got Bobby
It all started 12 yrs and 22lbs ago...

I was out in the backyard with ( our than ) 2 Cats, and heard this god awful kitten scream,
looked over and this little kitten was trying to climb the fence to get to me. ( Vet said he looked to of just been weaned )

Layed out he could fit in my hand ( wish we had taken a picture of that ) he had fleas and ear mites,
while my wife ran up to get some Flea bath I fed him and gave him some water.

By the time she got back he was watered, fed and completely passed out, he hardly stirred during the flea bath.

We took him right down to the Vet. ( they treated the ear mites ) he stayed asleep the whole time.

He woke up a few hours later and that's the day we got Bobby

I quit drinking last year and it just dawned on me that this will be the first full calendar year without a single drink in 10 years. That's pretty crazy to think about.

Have you ever been judged for buying a movie by an employee at the register?

I remember purchasing Saw 3D (VII) at Walmart and the lady looked up at me.

Says "you actually enjoy watching these movies?"

I tell her "yes I do. I own all of them."

She goes "I just don't like them. Too violent for me."

I mostly get robots. I hate how management beats down individuality and talkativeness.
