I got angry with a department that I work closely with and said an f-bomb on the 2-way radio. That is a huge no-no, but I didn’t get reprimanded. Maybe because I had good reason to be pissed? Idk. I’m just glad that I wasn’t.

When did Dolby get into the display side of things? I mean they're sound and seeing the whole believe your eyes for the first time confused me.

I went to BAM today, 1 of only 2 stores that have used movies, and found A Serious Man by the Coen bros. Didn't know about this movie until yesterday, watching random conspiracy videos on youtube. It's a coincidence that BAM had the movie, and that I'd only discovered it yesterday, and that they only had one copy...and that it was still in plastic even tough placed in the used section. *adjusts spectacles* what kinda Jew magic is this?

My step-son’s responsibilities have increased here at work. My duties include getting stuff done for the Blast Crew and it was kinda surreal taking direction from him. But it was also way cool! I am proud of him!

Went to the mall today and thought I’d put my AMC A-List to good use and see a double feature. And for both movies a total stranger reserved the seat next to mine! Whoever reserved that seat for the first movie never sat next to me. For the second movie, the person was already there so I just sat somewhere else. Why? These were both mostly empty screenings too. Why pick a seat next to a stranger?

Some people still cling to the "romanticism" of meeting someone and falling in love in a public venue. I think it's all hogwash. A movie theater is probably one of the last remaining places you'll not see people with cell phones stuck to their faces (most of the time) so if people don't go to the movies to chat or text, they're there to watch a movie - not hope to score with a stranger lol. I admit it's always been a fantasy of mine - have a hot girl sit next to me and flirt with me - but, like I said, it's all hogwash.

Did you have a good seat towards the middle of the theater? That's the only reason I can think of.

My guess is that you've not heard of Dolby Vision in relation to 4K video?

I've not been to the movies in over 10 years. I still haven't gotten into 4K yet so I really surprised

Both times I had THE center back row seat, but why get the seat directly next to me? Why not one over on either side?
