How many times has everyone here died of dysentery in The Oregon Trail?

If I was a cat I wouldn't have any lives left to live

Randomly realize that The Hobbit Battle of Five Armies was rated R, this seems so absurd I mean it seems more in line with the others and be PG-13.

I have no idea on that second part. I’m not taking the bait on the first.

My step son, who works where I do, has been due for a raise and promotion for some time. A position had opened up and my boss hasn’t given my step son what he has earned.
There’s a blaster on the opposite rotation that wants to switch to our side and I’m thinking that my boss wants that, rather than doing the right thing. I don’t know for sure, but will next week before we leave.
I’m a bit concerned on how I’ll react. But the bigger worry is that my stepson will quit, which I wouldn’t fault him at for. He’s a great worker and if he leaves, it’s a loss for our Team.

My Walmart store has a lot of Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, One Piece, misc. anime Blu-rays and DVD’s to choose from. Some of the Dragon Ball Z even include an exclusive decal and $2 Vudu credit. I am seriously thinking about buying something, even if it is the DVD (cheaper).

The DBZ DVD releases are the cropped orange brick releases. I wouldn't buy those unless you're desperate for DBZ and even then I wouldn't do it. Funimation released cropped Blu-ray seasons for the series as well. Save your money and buy those if you must.

The line of idiots camping out at the Apple store at my train hub wasn't as long as in previous years but it was still a ridiculous sight. Here I am worried about spending too much money on blurays but these dopes take the cake. They line up every September waiting to buy the latest iPhone while they play with perfectly good phones they currently own. I just don't get it

I kept my iPhone 5 for 6 years until I finally caved with my recently purchased Xr but I totally get you.

I don't line up, but I still get a new iPhone every year. I just pre-order online and do in-store pickup. I'll swing by the Apple store today after work, spend maybe ten minutes in there, and then head home.

These people are probably the same ones who have to finance their phones. That always took the cake for me, like why would you finance something as small as a phone? I don't even like financing cars.

Technically I 'finance' my phone, but it just gets added onto my phone bill. It's not a separate bill I have to pay every month, so I don't even notice it. My phone bill is just a little more.

I try to stay away from any recurring payments, subscriptions, etc., so I always buy my phones outright in full.

Buying a new phone when you already have a perfectly working one really is no different than buying a UHD when you already have a perfectly working dvd or bluray.

Hmmm...this almost makes sense. I'll let the thought rattle around my consciousness a while. I'm pretty sure there's a valid counterpoint out there somewhere

Look, people can buy whatever they want. If some kid whose parents have way too much money wants t buy them a new toy (you can't even call these phones anymore since they use them for everything BUT making phone calls) every year that's perfectly normal in a free society. I still think it's ridiculous, but, ya know, whatever.

Well, except for the glaring technological differences and all.

The Rager can’t be seen with an outdated phone on the corporate jet. His cronies would throw him out somewhere over Cleveland. And that’s a fate worse than using an Android phone. Lol

Not even sure right now. Biz was out at the bar. I was going to call the bar and ask for Councilman Pierson but I was too lazy and never did it

I was thinking about Braveheart earlier. It's a great film. Angus McFadyen who played Robert The Bruce was awesome. The movie was on AMC a few times a couple months ago. It's one of my favorite movies and I love the whole thing.

And might as well add this one. Never thought too much of Tobey Maguire but then I watched Brothers and this scene here...
