I'm not sure if it was this thread or another one here in GF but I think someone asked about how often everyone buys clothes. I don't buy that often but if it's been awhile, I may go a bit crazy now and then. I mostly do it with tennis clothes instead of casual attire.
I'm wondering what's the most you guys have ever spent on a particular piece of clothing that wasn't formal attire like a suit. There's a pair of sweatpants that I'm interested in but they're €95 I just took a quick look at Nike's site and they have a $120 pair of running sweats The 1/4 zip hoodie that I want is €115. The thing I like about both items, besides the look, is that they have zippered pockets.

On the cheap side, I've picked up a few nice $6 Goodfellow shirts at Target recently. They're simple crew neck tees but I really like some of the colors they're available in.

I buy a lot of t-shirts. Recently I've been buying 2-3 a month. Hot Topic is absolutely killing it with the anime t-shirt designs and I'm stocking up big time. I hadn't realized the market for vintage anime/video game/cartoon t-shirts until engaging in social media, like Instagram, earlier in the year. Seriously, some shirts can sell for $50 to $100+ depending on the rarity of the design. So, shirts have become another collectible to me. What the hell don't I collect at this point?

Clothing for work I spend a lot less on, as little as possible outside of a good pair of shoes every now and then. I tend to go with cheap Walmart shirts and pants, sometimes even going to Savers and paying a few bucks for an older pair.

Damn, that is expensive. I can see a nice jacket being that much though if it's got that quality material that makes it really warm. What kind is it?

I'm the same way in that I feel like I'm collecting clothes also. It does seem like these vintage pop culture shirts have become quite popular. I had no idea that some were that expensive though.
I tend to go for plain tees unless it's a sports brand and then I don't mind some kind of logo or design.

I’m thinking about replacing my current bedroom tv for either a 40” or a 43” 4K tv. I believe that it is time I retire my 32” Seiki.
No guarantee that I will buy a new tv, but I have been thinking about it.

I'm in the same boat. I've had my 55" 1080p vizio for years now, works just as well today as it did day one... but 4k TV's have dropped in price so much over the last couple years.

IDK I always have a hard time upgrading things when the original item still works.

Agreed. I don’t like getting rid of something, especially if it still works. It is like wasting money, but I just want a bigger tv.

I’m looking at either a TCL or a Vizio.

I'd have trouble spending $120 on sweatpants that someone got paid 10 cents to make

Now's the time to do it, with Black Friday and holidays right around the corner.

That's the brand and size I've had in my main home theater room for years now as well. I've been wanting to put a 4K set in there but the spacing on the rack between the edge of the TV and my right speaker is a bit close so I really couldn't do so. That being said, we're moving into a new house in the spring so it sounds like I will be upgrading soon enough.

Eh, you can always just put it in another room, no? That's what I did with my Panasonic plasma when I got a new 4K set for our living room.

Both are excellent value brands. I love Vizios, always have. Other than my Panny plasma, it's all I have in my home.

i wanna replace my 40" in my bedroom with a 50". the funny thing is it'll almost be the same size overall. my 40" is from 2011 and the bezel on it is much larger than the current models. so a 50", with a very small bezel, is just a tiny bit bigger than my current 40", lol.

ot: thinking about tomorrow...up at 5:00 am, on the road before 6:00...drive about 45 miles to the campus for the game...hang out all day...get home about 10:00 pm or so tomorrow night.

I just bought 2 43" TVs today to hang side by side above my current TV in the man cave.

Ultimate Experience.

Now, who is bringing the beer, and who is brining the wings?

Thinking of selling some DVD and Blu-rays that I don't watch. I've been buying every single complete Pokemon season/movie release put out since 2014 and I don't feel like I need them all. Outside of the first five seasons, I'll probably never watch them. Some of them are still sealed. Even if I were to watch them, it'd feel like more of a chore to me than anything because I'm not genuinely interested in those seasons. I know I'll regret selling after the fact but what else is new.

I recently purged over 90% of my entire physical collection. I have never felt better after doing it.

I've been wanting to replace our living room 43" TV with a much bigger one(thinking 70"), possibly putting the 43" in our bedroom (we currently don't have a TV in there) but the wife keeps telling me we don't need one in there. She's probably right.

Sorry I am late to express my condolences, but I am truly bummed you are having to go through this.

I've grown tired of collecting things simply to collect. If I'm not going to watch something then I want it gone, that's where I'm at with certain releases. I go round and round with this though. I'll buy one set and then another, before I know it I'm right back to where I was before selling.

Just do it. If feels so good. Of course keep a few titles that you really like. I kept all of my Doctor Who titles. Even though they are practically kids shows, they still are enjoyable.

All good my fellow Highlander fan. It is honestly for the best. I think everyone will be happy in the end and I should just move on.

In lighter news, I might have found a place today. I went and looked at a studio about 20 minutes from work and central to the bigger cities tonight.

So if I got a promotion or transferred to another store I shouldn’t have to move. The Ex and I are going to look at it tomorrow. If it looks as good in the day I’m going to leave a deposit.
