Looking at public opinions and government actions I'm predicting the third wave will start hitting in about a month. You can basically see when people get to tired of social distancing and start planning trips to the movies or to have parties. I also expect school children to do what school children do and spread any illness into the school to everyone in the school quite rapidly.

I kind of wish they had said the minimum safe distance was double whatever it truly is because one thing I have noticed is people cheat constantly with social distancing. They say 6 feet but almost everyone I know only maintains 3 to 4 feet in most cases like backyard parties and the longer this goes on the shorter that distance becomes till we probably end up back at whatever personal space norms society follows.

Breaking News: Top Trump administration officials were said to have pressured the CDC to recommend narrower criteria for who should be tested for the coronavirus.

I been holding off saying this for a while, but decided to bring it up now. I notice that many people wear masks and only having their mouth covered and their nose exposed. Is that an acceptable way to wear a mask?? If so, then please let me know because it would make wearing a mask FAR more comfortable and breathable for me.

To put it a bit graphically (my nurse cousin said this first) - wearing a mask with your nose exposed is like wearing a condom with the balls hanging out.

Moot point now that restaurants can offer indoor dining at 25% starting August 29th

Yeah I was wondering why the deliberations were continuing after she said 25% dining can resume Saturday.

On a personal note not sure why the GM from work hasn't mentioned it yet, they may not know how to respond.

Wait...are the balls supposed to go into the condom?

Maybe it's because it is not worth opening up at only 25%. I know a few people here with restaurants and if you do not have much take out, you lose money with those numbers.

We have I'm pretty sure about 100 tables inside so at 25 more tables it'd probably be enough to reopen inside. Even if it's 50, it'd still be 12 more, which helps your bottom line. Plus for some reason when the inside is open, we do better with takeout.

My first instinct tells me that your mask should be covering BOTH nose and mouth, but since so many people wear it with the nose exposed, then I guess it's ok.
