They just retired last year, 2019; one in March 2019 and the other in December 2019.
...Before we even heard about COVID-19. And it was all planned few years before.
They are well off, live comfortably, are in no need of financial stimulus support, with excellent generous pensions. Hey they are seniors, with a good health care system and old age security rewards from hard work all their lives in the great White North.

* They don't drive Ferraris, Lamborghinis or Bugattis, and don't live in a mansion with palaces all around the world. No private jets either.

One is constantly active on his land, always keeping in shape in the outdoors year-round, the other is a traveller and just bought a paddle board.

My family is a very very sportive family. We were raised playing all sports...golfing, football, baseball, hockey, skiing, tennis, ping pong, snooker, chess.

We all know that Penton.

If there is a discrepancy in the numbers it's the other way around.

There are currently 4 countries in Europe that are bucking the trend in having lower coronavirus cases. They are Finland, Ireland, Malta & Estonia. Although the rest of Europe is sadly still accelerating with more cases of Covid-19. More than half of the Covid infections recorded from this week are occurring in Europe. The current figures for Covid-19 rates in Europe now officially surpass the U.S.

In The Rep. of Ireland's case; the improved levels of compliance from the Irish public has gradually lowered the cases numbers to date since the level 3 restrictions came into effect a few weeks ago. A week ago last Sunday during it's Bank Holiday weekend; we were at 1025 cases. However the numbers of cases that were recorded from this evening was at 552 cases with 2 more deaths. Those lower figures of cases represents a pretty impressive drop of nearly 50% within one week. It's also marks the 8th day in a row in where we have seen a decrease in new cases. That tells us pretty much that the previous level 3 restrictions are working & they're doing their job pretty well. But people in Ireland still need to comply with the restrictions to keep lowering the case numbers further. The level 5 restrictions put in place since this week will now hopefully give us more improvements over the next 4 weeks or so.

Fingers crossed.

This is like the big aerosolized debate. Yesterday it is aersolized, today it isn't, tomorrow it is.

Australia take their precautions very seriously...good.

If you'd live in Paris what would you do, get in your car and escape to the countryside @ the last minute?
Did you see the traffic jams?

* Over 50,000 new cases in France today.

How will you be celebrating Thanksgiving this year?
Hint: Just look @ Canadians last month.

We didn't see a Sunday and Monday with more than 5,000 departed since mid-April (19-20).
This is a significant stats from last week and now this week.

Snow in some Quebec regions this morning, and sun and relatively warm on the Canadian west coast.
Quite contrasting when exchanging photographs with the phamily.

Stay safe, wear a mask, keep your distance, don't go to the gym, make the right decisions for you, for your family, your friends, your country, your world.

They do ?? I watched a rugby match from Adelaide about 2 weeks ago that had a full sold out stadium crowd, over 50,000 people and not a single person including players and stadium staff were wearing a mask.

Perhaps a little mishap, but overall Australia plays very firm and strict on COVID-19 preventive measures. The stats speak for themselves ... 35 per one million deaths. Compare that to say many countries in Europe (UK, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, ...) and to the Americas (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Panama, Mexico, USA, Quebec, ...).
