Incubation time is 1-2 weeks and then you basically spread it for like another week before you get sick enough to end up in the hospital or stay at home. with that it means that it will take 2 to 3 weeks before you even see an effect from doing a quarantine on reported cases. Idk what they are going to do once the 3 weeks are up though.

This is going to get MUCH MUCH worse. They're not even testing everyone.

I had a family member sent home even though she has the symptoms.

At Fed Ex, we have to start stacking packages for businesses and schools that are closed which is pretty much all of them. So this shall be interesting for the next few weeks wonder where we will put all of them if shipments will start to stop

The problem is they waited too long. We're completely screwed.
youre both right in a sense. the social distancing will work with slowing the spread. but, the numbers will continue to spike because we are just now starting to test in mass. so expect the numbers to continue to increase as we test and know that the tests are critical in isolating people and collecting data. the social distancing aspect will help now and in the long term to level the curve

Anybody suspect that upcoming movies like Black Widow will now be delayed?

She was sent home from the hospital after being there for 2 days. They refused to outright test her even though she had the symptoms. They quarantined her, even though they wouldn't test her.

Then someone was confirmed to have it in the hospital and they shut the whole place down. Only in or out through the ER and no visitors.

It's a complete shit-show out there.

Disney should just stream it on their Disney+ service. But they won’t, because they love money too much.

With my Prime membership I have a free membership to Amazon Fresh, of course no delivery windows available, why offer it then?
Guess I'll be going to the grocery store...

Do we need a running tally of new cases to be splashed all over the news every hour? All this does is create anxiety. And it doesn't help when municipalities use phrases like 'Prepare' or 'Be Prepared'. It sounds so apocalyptic. I'm doing everything possible not to watch the news.

Tried to go this 7/11 down the road and they are boarded up. Wonder if they're all like that. My taquito craving will just have to wait.

Got an e-mail that all Hot Topic stores will be temporarily closing too.

Wondering if it will get to the point where major stores like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart will either shut down, or have extremely limited operating hours in the morning, especially for the latter two with their groceries, medication, and paper products.
