Yep. Older orders are most likely prepared first. Since Amazon changes your pre-order price to the lowest pice, I don't understand the logic and mentality of some people.

Thanks!
Actually, from everything I've seen and read, AotC has a slight teal tint added to the whole of the movie. No kidding.

Anyway...
[Show spoiler]How's the audio?!!

You'd think so wouldn't you. But thats not the way it goes. Thats the way it should be. But at the end of the day, they don't give a crap if they ship the earliest order 1st as long as they get them out of the door. Harsh, but true.

Here are some screen caps. You can scroll down to where it says 'Attack of the Clones - Teal Shift' if you want to check that out. It doesn't appears to be as heavy or dark as FotR, but it's there.

Clearly for most of you apologists it is.

The totally unbiased evidence out there in regards to The Phantom Menace directly conflict with his 4/5 opinion of the PQ, my eyes conflict with his opinion of the PQ, so who do you thing i´m going to trust. My eyes and totally unbiased objective evidence or some total stranger on the internet who´s been bigging up this set from the very beginning? Not a difficult choice now is it.
Totally unbiased evidence that I said it was a soft picture in places, but that was just highlighting the positives in my review. A review of one paragraph? Do you really think I reviewed the set or just commented on what I thought the reviews would say? Giving it the lowest mark in the set and saying it was the worst was just highlighting the positives. Agreeing with every other posted review by people except you was unbiased based on people who own the discs and not judge the release upon some compressed pirated rip that someone took a screenshot off and compressed to an inch of its life. Using the word reference and being completely taken apart for it when I was referring to a '77 film and the quality it has been brought up to, using a 4.5 when only a 4 would do because personal opinion counts for squat, not posting screenshots because you would have to bypass the copy protection on the disc to do so to prove a personal viewpoint that you disagree with, and frankly I have better things to do than Star Wars. Clearly you 'haters' don't. (seriously, is there not an age restriction on this site to prevent children posting?)

Really, you do need to get out more

The good news is I have the set, have helped some on here with their queries and now never need to come back or post again. Enjoy everyone.

The Godfather has more votes than any of the Star Wars movies on IMDB as well. Just because a film doesn't lend itself to millions of cheap mass-produced action figures and LEGO sets it doesn't mean it isn't popular enough for people to care if it was butchered by pointless revisionism.

Saying that I would be the only one that cares if the Godfather was altered is completely ridiculous, and making the statement that young people wouldn't care as if all that matters in the world are teenyboppers and what they like is even moreso.

It's really cool how you try to back up your facts by looking up something on IMDB. It has more "votes", which is like saying, Al Gore had more votes in 2000, so he should be president. HAHA! You people baffle me! Listen to me for one second -

If Coppola got the itch after all these years that he wanted to do a "Special Edition" of his Godfathers films and add a scene of a beach or something into Part 1, you guys would be flipping out the same way you are on this forum?? THEY ARE HIS FILMS!!

Cry all you want, George Lucas doesn't care about any of your opinions. What makes me laugh so hard is that all you folks crying about this are going to be first in line to buy these Blu-Rays next Friday! LOL!

Although you will say different here on these boards, to keep up appearances. :-)

I wonder if this will calm down once it's released worldwide...Have a feeling some here are bickering for the sake of bickering

Just hope they release all three releases here in norway tomorrow, and not just the complete package. But still not sure if I'll just fork out for the complete package to see if those prequels were as bad as I remembered them. Also, the price difference is not very great here.

Here's to tomorrow

Actually he did get such an itch, but last I heard, Apocalypse Now and Apocalypse Now Redux were separate films.

Here I am trying to be funny and there is some truth to it! Nothing I have read about so far bothers me bad enough to not get these (dont get me wrong, I wish some of the changes were not made) and I can deal with the teal.

But as you say, HOW IS THE AUDIO!

.

Can someone who has seen 'A New Hope' already, tell me if the music cue reveals of Ben-Kenobi and Mos Eisley have been fixed in this release.

Please.

My final thought on this to add. If Coppola CGI'd in a "NOOOOOO!!!" Jar-Jar Binks scene, people would still buy the films. Maybe not you, but there would still be people who would. You don't know anymore about the general public than I do. Just because you have issues with this Blu-Ray, doesn't mean it won't sell MILLIONS!

And that is where the problem lies. We're bickering for nothing, because these filmmakers have the right to do whatever they want!

I'm going to start calling you "actually"

Actually he did this....

Actually he did that...

Are you trying to help me prove my point with this statement? We're not talking about Apocalypse Now anyway if you didn't notice...

I just checked, and it's 6:45pm where you are. That means you can pick it up in just over five hours, if there's a 24 hour store nearby!

How's the audio??? Anybody??? Hello???

Audio is absolutely amazing, especially on AOTC. This was the one I was most looking forward to hearing in DTS HD MA, and I was not disappointed. From Amidalas arrival on Coruscant, to the seismic charges, and not to mention Anakin vs Dookuu.. Gives me chills just thinking about it

Had hoped for Ep 2 Lightsaber sound on all films though, but no such luck

I really hope it's Ken Brown. He will tell it like it is, for better or for worse.
It's going to be reviewed by Casey Broadwater, as he does all of the 20th Century Fox releases. He also tends to be the harshest of the reviewers on here, so he will bash TPM's DNR.

Yeah, mad that a grown ass man would say something as ridiculous as "ALL young kids are too busy caring about Justin Beiber than changes to The Godfather, a movie that nobody cares about." Keep failing, dude. Fail harder.
