Again, LOVE the "burning Anakin" clip in the Episode III part of the Early Access app. Can't wait to see the full version.

I've never been one for "stills" extras on any DVD/BD, but I think I'll love checking this one out.

I had a dream about the battle of Hoth last night. The final 6 weeks of waiting for something are always the worst.

Whats the consensus on price as the release date looms closer? Will the Amazon price drop, go up or stay the same? Im interested in the complete saga.

From darthpsychotic at millenniumfalcon.com-

"The 2004 DVDs leaked the last week of July with Return Of The Jedi being first - sourced from European PAL Discs. In terms of leaks I don't see BDRips leaking until two or three weeks before the release date which I guess means any day now.

Lucasfilm has been forthcoming in terms of trailers, screenshots, information, and video. The only thing unclear is scene and sound additions, deletions, and alterations. If there were major additions there would have been major leaks by now.

In 2004 there was much more excitement over them because the only versions out there were VHS and Laser Discs transcoded to DVD. Lucas wanted to wait till Revenge Of The Sith was out before releasing the Original Trilogy on DVD but was "forced over piracy" for a early release.

Piracy also factored into the 2006 DVDs with the ORIGINAL UNALTERED TRILOGY featured as "Bonus Discs". Despite being non-anamorphic the OUT Bonus Discs were vastly superior to any and all of the "anamorphic" Laser Disc transcodes - since the OUT Discs were sourced from original elements. The interesting thing about the 2006 DVDs was that it's main selling point was that the movies were available now as "Singles" for the first time.

When it comes to lack of inside information, one of our insiders died of brain cancer, another one is not only out of the "business" but also has brain cancer, the other - Darth First actually still comes to MF once a month.

Darth First came over here from TFN because none of them over there believed First acquired the 2004 set early because.... First was the first to reveal the subpar visual and audio work done which caused TFN to say First had "works in progress"."

*****************

So hopefully we will start seeing some screenshots in a week or two.

Hey bro, what are those 3 discs in the binder... "Deleted Magic", "Returning to Jedi" and the Empire one? PM me some info on those, i'm intriqued how to get a copy, i've never heard of them.

Can't wait for the Bluray! I'm saving a special place on my shelf for this one! And I'm almost done with my custom covers to put the discs in and put away the uggo box.

Cool!

It really cracked me up when TheDigitalBits originally posted a link to it for the iPad and iPhone, and it was ONLY FOR iPAD!

LOL

Deleted Magic, Building Empire and Returning to Jedi. 3 fan-edited cuts of the OT with deleted footage, behind the scenes stuff, and trivia facts mixed in all in one long version of each film.

As the prices have dropped on the separate sets I assume and HOPE that the complete saga will drop to $80 as well by shipping date. It better because my friends without Amazon accounts are paying me first and then I'm taking that hit on my credit card. 3 sets. Mine and theirs.

That's a bit extreme, the parents won't let them have credit cards?

the set should be less than $80. I've never heard of separate releases adding up to be cheaper (or the same) as the "complete" set.

even with the extra content, any business would rather give you more to get $80 up front than give less and get $40, with the possibility of another $40 later. the extra features are incentive to buy the set and should not cost extra.

Look at alien, the set is around $80 now, the 4 movies are $20 each (Canadian prices btw). Amounts to the same, but you only get MUTHUR MODE with the box set.

The box should drop by at least $10.

At least you Americans got a price drop, still $100 for the saga here in Canada

Of course they have credit cards. One of them refuses to shop online because she's security paranoid. The other has an Amazon account but not with free 2 day shipping. I pre-ordered before my Student Prime membership expires so I'll get them release day.

Doesn't bother me that much. I just want to be sure I have every last dollar by release date.

I wonder if Star Wars will have something similar to MUTHUR MODE, it was very convenient

I see a price of €90 euro's here in the Netherlands.
That amounts to 127,40 USD, so it can be a whole lot worse .

$15 a movie is not unreasonable, that is cheaper than most new releases.

If you want the cheaper alternative buy the separate trilogies.

Agreed! I wasn't complaining

Just saying it seems odd that the Trilogies work out cheaper than the Saga. Not affecting my decision to purchase the Complete Saga whatsoever.

I guess it's the cheaper packaging (or what's perceieved to be cheaper) and less discs.
