Noob question here, I noticed you listed Leon the Professional twice, one US release one German, is this because they have two different contents? Or, for all intents and purposes are they the same thing?

When different studios or distributors have the same title I try to list them as well so people know that they include the same master.

What does "4k master" mean in the context of Lord of the Rings? I don't recall an announcement that they were rerendering the CGI. That would no doubt be enormously expensive. So is this a new 4k scan of the OCN composited in 4k with upscaled CGI, or is this a 4k scan of a 2k filmout to 35mm?

It always amazes me how little scrutiny people give sources. I'm not disputing the accuracy in this specific instance, I don't know one way or another, but I wouldn't be putting so credence into what someone has written in what's more-or-less a blog.

If that's the case, you've missed out on some of the best discs on the format, and possibly bought some of the more underwhelming upgrades as well. DI/master resolution has proven to be an unreliable predictor of disc quality.
