Is the Target exclusive disc a DVD or a blu-ray? (like they did for 2012's exclusive disc)

I am hoping to pick this up soon! I commented to my mom how there are a lot of movies that I would like to get. She asked when Robin Hood comes out. I told her it came out today. She said she'd get it for me. She must feel sorry for me since I got a pneumothorax. Oh well, pneumothorax is fixed and I get an awesome movie!

Is it me, or does the 2 disc special edition DVD seem to have more special features than the blu ray release?

Yeah I got that one too. I will say this, even tho it is a DVD and not a BD, and its only 30 minutes, the special features on this disc are actually pretty entertaining. I think it was worth swinging in to Target on my way home to pick this one up. OH, and I really enjoyed the movie a lot more than most people did, that surely helped too!

So I picked this up today and began watching it (was very tired, so only made it 20 minutes or so in). The PQ is not as impressive as most Universal discs I've seen. However, I have to admit, the AQ is really strong, especially in the first battle scene. I can't wait to finish the whole thing, especially since I've obviously never seen the Director's Cut before, only the theatrical.

I have to say, I'm so glad they put the Digital Copy disc in a paper sleeve inside the case, and no Eco! Yay.
Thanks for your reply! I haven't actually watched it yet--haven't had time, but can't wait to watch it.

Anyone else have the bdps570 and have Robin Hood take a LONG time to load?

Isn't that The Jungle Book? They're kind of easy to get mixed up. I remember as a kid thinking Ballo and Little John were the same cartoon character.

Anyway, I watched this movie for the first time last night (the Director's Cut) and I was thoroughly entertained.

I can see why people wouldn't like it, with it not being the usual Robin Hood story, being more of a prequel and
[Show spoiler]not showing him as Robin Hood until the last few minutes(spoilered in case you didn't already know this.)
. Personally, I thought it was great for those reasons. I found the story intriguing, the character portrayal and development interesting, and the production value was excellent.

I personally thought it looked really great on Blu-ray, with the exception of a couple shots I noticed with very heavy grain.

Overall, I'm glad I ignored the negative feedback and bought this. One of the best movies I've seen this year.

Just watched it for the first time since seeing in the theater.

I like the director's cut better, as the few scenes include give a better storyline for sure.

I sure hope they make a sequel.

It made pretty good money at the theater worldwide, so hopefully it does.

$310 million world wide isn't bad at all.
