I think on rewatch I will love this movie almost. My main disappointments were the VFX and Robbie's performance and character. I hope the VFX look better on blu ray than in the cinema. I appreciate that imsounoriginal felt differently about the FX so hopefully it was just my perception at the time being off the mark. However with regard to Robbie, her performance was poor and she had some horrific dialogue to boot.

That aside though is truly a rollicking adventure movie with huge scale and a great double act with Skarsgard and Jackson.
