For the last time, the US version contains 1 BD abd 5 dvds in the endoskull.
The UK and German version only contains the BD and nothing else in the endoskull.

That finally cleared up,
I just couldn't understand when a mail from PLAY.COM says there's only ONE disc and The TRUST (not dissing him) saying there is one Blu-ray disc and 5 DVD's.

Oh no problem at all. It's better to make sure people understand what they're buying before they buy it.

Here's how I see it. I honestly think that the price/bundle sucks for what we get in the endoskull edition BUT I've been wanting a life size endoskull for a while now so buying endoskull edition is still cheaper than buying an actual metal endoskull that costs anywhere from $500-$1500. I figured it will be a good alternative.

The Trust misunderstood me and vice versa, he was talking about the U.S. release. I was talking about the mail from PLAY.COM in which they stated there is only one disc that can be ordered from PLAY.COM

Feeling pleased now because
a) I didn't buy the original T2 BD because I knew a better version would come along
b) A new kick-ass version of T2 is here!!!

Can't wait for this! And after reading this thread I just found out about the extra scenes in the ultimate edition dvd (82997) and saw them for the first time tonight! On my ultimate edition when you type the code, it goes to a screen with the 2 scenes to choose from to watch. Was good to see them, but I don't think I want to see the film with the 2 scenes added. The normal extended edition is my T2 of choice!

I must say, after watching only BD's lately, seeing a normal dvd was a bit eeeekk, how did we ever cope with that?! Ssssoooooo looking forward to the Terminators on blu...

Saw a new trailer today for Terminator Salvation too. It's on davestrailerpage, and I have to say, it looks superb.

It is being worked on at the moment but we have no release date for it.

I never really thought T2 on BD was all that bad. I'm going to try it again soon but I don't own it so it will be a rental for curiousity sake more than anything else.

I realize the upgrade for the audio on the new one but time will tell regarding the PQ I suppose.

I have both on pre-order. Just in case the skull is truly plastic then I will stick to the Skynet Edition. Nice to see the price drops already though.

Count me in for $19.99. I don't have this on BD currently as stated earlier and just an upgrade in audio would be worth it for me. I'm sure the PQ would be better also but time will tell for that.
