Which version? I have the "Ultimate Edition DVD" and never heard of that. The running time is 156 minutes.

The T2 Ultimate Edition DVD contained 3 versions of the movie .
Theatrical Cut.... 136 min. 04 sec.
Special Edition.... 153 min. 02 sec.
Extended Special Edition .... 155 min. 43 sec... only accessible as an Easter-egg by punching in Judgment Day August 29th - 1997 by doing the following....
press 8/enter
press 2/enter
press 9/enter
press 9/enter
press 7/enter
It will then say..... The future is not set , and play the hidden version.
I love having the option of having all existing versions on one disc.
Hopefully the Skynet Edition will have all 3 versions.
I did enjoy watching the "alternate / happy ending " version but of coarse with that there wold be no sequels to enjoy.

You only had to press Enter if your DVD player doesn't have a 10+ key. For example, some DVD players will go directly to chapter 2 if you press 2 (no "Enter" necessary). If you wanted to go to chapter 22, you'd have to press 10+ twice, then 2. On those DVD players, you do not need to press "Enter" at all on the main menu. Just enter 8,2,9,9,7.

Default T2 Skynet Edition Review?

How soon will blu-ray.com be able to review new released T2 Skynet Edition? Will they be able to review before the release date? Any chance that I can rent the new edition from Netflix?

Default Limited Edition T2 Complete Collector's Set Thread

This set will soon be released on May 19 I'm really starting to get into the aspect of collecting Blu-Rays as well as watching them. Is anyone else picking this up? I've heard people mentioning that they are staying away from this set like the plague because of the price. Should the price be terminated? Or are you jumping in with both barrels blazing?

I have no place to put the skull. Too expensive is the reason why I'm staying away.

well, it's my favorite movie so I don't really care about the price. The second it became available for pre-order I jumped all over it.

This would make a great conversation piece, but not in my household,my 2 nephews(5 and 8) that I have custody of would have broken before I could say "I'll be back"! Just the 2 disc set for me,plus it's cheaper!,My older nephew got a hold of my Superman Returns Lunchbox and that was the end of that collectable,he DOESuse it to take his lunch to school sometimes,He DVD leave me the comic book and dvd though,he didnt want that stuff, almost bought another one at FYE for 6.99 on sale but decided not to.

Really want it, but the price still seems high.

What is the best price so far?

Audio is good... video is good.

I disagree with his beefs on the film though. It is a 4.5/5 star for sure.

Interesting
'
this 1080p/VC-1 encode (2.35:1) offers no truly appreciable upgrade over the previous Blu-ray (which I reviewed upon first release back in 2006).
'

and expected as the UK version is the same transfert in VC1 too...
