I am looking at both images and at first I prefer the top image. The color is better and it seems to "pop" more on the screen.
I can see the argument for finer detail in one. It is tough to notice but if you look closely then it is there. I don't think I can tell until I actually watch the BLU. I guess if you aren't a fan of DNR then this release isn't for you but to say it is "bad" isn't true. The comment for "Why not just get the DVD"... compare the images for DVD to the SKYNET edition... I doubt that would make you happy at all. |

One thing to keep in mind when comparing the screen images on your PC, is that if your sitting 10 ~ 12 feet away from a 50 inch TV, I highly doubt that anybody can see any huge difference between the two Lionsgate releases. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I did spot a couple of situations where the closeup images of faces appeared to be slightly " polished "; however, the overall presentation was quite good and yes, I do have the original Lionsgate Blu-ray release to compare but will dump the original release at my closest trade-in store for credit. Once again, the uncompressed audio on the Skynet version is so good that it will make you forget the video shortcomings of a few select scenes while several other scenes appear sharper.
Case closed. |

A transfer that has been DNR'd isn't hard to pick out even when it's in motion, if you know what you're looking at. SOME isn't too bad, but I'm afraid this one will be painfully obvious based on the stills, especially the one of Furlong in the back of the car. Smooth as buttah.

Hello... the 3 batteries comes inside the skull or only with the box?? Because I'm not planning on open the box.. but if it comes already inside the skull we must remove the batteries due to oxidation!!!

I have looked throughed the entire thread and cant find the answers to my questions as follows:
Sound Chip I understand from a post I read somewhere that the Endo Skull has a sound chip capability. 1) May I know how is this sound chip activated? By Motion or by switch activation? 2) What is the sound being played when activated? Finishing of the Skull 1) I Understand the material is plastic. Can anyone confirm if the finishing has a "Chrome/reflective" look? Meaning to say, you won't know it's plastic till you handle it. I don't really care about the discs as I feel that dropping US$115 just for the Endo Skull is alright as I wanted a 1:1 replica all along, even though it's plastic as it'a a cheaper alternative to the sideshow big brother. Thanks for any response. |

Thanks for the answers. Can I ask further? - Am I right to say that there is only 1 button available and that once this button is pressed, the sound will play and the eyes will light up? (I was thinking that there are 2 buttons, 1 each for the sound and lights) - When the button is pressed, how long will the eyes stay lit for? - Last but not least, how did you get it for free????haha Thanks again dude. |
