Yeah if its platic then I wont bother.
Hopefully someone gets a early copy and lets everyone know if its plastic or not, it it is not plastic then we can go ahead and order before it gets OOP. Im talking about the german/uk release as thats much cheaper and just contans the new BD of T2 and not 5 other discs. The endoskull will be same in all 3 versions tho obv. |

Is it true that the six-pack contains only one blu-ray and the other 5 discs are oldray DVDs? What is the point of that? The Bladerunner set was all blu-rays. What's is going on here?

Blade runner set was worth is as it had diff versions of the movies.
This just has one BD and 2 dvds that all have the same movie on it. Which is pointless as people who are likely to buy that set are fans and they would already have the other 2 dvd eiditions or one of the dvds editions so why would they want another copy of the same discs. |

the 6 pack is expensive mainly because of the skull, not the extra discs. only one of them is bluray, then there is the Ultimate Edition 2-disc DVD, the Extreme Edition 2-disc DVD, and the digital copy disc.

It seems that they did the BD right -- you get all the versions via seamless branching, and the extras are mostly film-specific (commentaries and BonusView-type things). So they should all fit on one disc nicely.
Blade Runner was an entirely different animal -- you had three versions with seamless branching on Disc 3, but then entirely different versions of the film on Discs 1 and 5, plus two DVD's worth of supplements on Discs 2 and 4. None of this utilized the full potential of the Blu-ray spec, but hey, that was Warner back in their red phase. It's still a masterful release, Blade Runner. What does bother me is that we don't get any non-film-specific extras with the regular release (nor we get the film's actual title on the spine, how lame). If I want to get a proper T2 collectible, I'll go over to Sideshow Collectibles and get one. Still, with all these caveats, this might just be a great Blu-ray. |

See, he already went with Sideshow.
Looks like the battle damaged version -- or at least looks like it in his photo. ![]() |
