Agreed. I don't need the other 6 discs so that's why I pre ordered it from Amazon Germany even if it will be region locked. I have an LG BH 200 so the region locking isn't a factor for me.

How many various releases has this film had on DVD? It is now on its 2nd Blu ray issue. This title has to set the record for how many times it is been reissued.

Agreed. I don't think I will ever get rid of my T2 Ultimate Edition DVD. The Skynet edition blu will be a quadruple dip for me. (VHS, Ultimate DVD, first blu ray release)

i heard somewhere that the transfer the japanese steelbook got is the same transfer lionsgate will use, and if thats the case its good news as the japanese steelbook had a great picture

The first blu ray transfer was such a major disappointment that I'll be renting this one first to see how good a job they have done on it. Once burned, twice shy!!!

I don't want to be buying the fifth blu ray release in 2011 saying to myself "I'm sure they got it right this time!"
