I would never trust the back cover to have correct technical information. Usually, this space is filled by the packaging designer, based on the information provided by the person in charge of the project… who may not have the full technical data. And there are often basic oversights such as writing 1080p for 1080i content (due to copy-paste across releases as well).

It's fair. And in the Kazé quality scale, this probably peaks. The first UK BD should be identical PQ-wise.

Yeah, it was decent for a Kazé release. I found it disapointing that the Madman/Manga BD uses materials from Viz with wrong colors. I can watch Stardust Crusaders with the correct colors on PC, but the rips take up a lot of HDD space that could have been used for better things.

So after emailing Viz last August about Inuyasha, providing constructive criticism and pointing out the multiple issues affecting the release and some solutions (incorrect colour space/Stuttering etc), I'd assumed it'd fallen entirely on deaf ears. To my surprise it evidently didn't, as I received Jojo Golden Wind Part 2 today and was shocked to see that it is encoded in the correct colour space. It was authored in October.

EDIT: The episodes are all the correct colour space, however the first version of the second NCOP and NCED is incorrect. The extended version is right however. It's also worth pointing out that this release is missing multiple version of the NCOP/EDs (most notably the SFX ver. of the OP) as there should be two versions of the second ED and five for the second OP going by the JP BD.

-ALL the video extras are moved to the last disc, along with the disc credits. if these were the same discs, they'd be found on 2 of the discs instead of only 1.
-Copyright at the end of the credit roll for every single episode
-Different Sentai logo animation and trailers
-HIDIVE ad instead of The Anime Network ad
-Smaller subtitles

You're welcome. Just one thing, you've uploaded lossy JPEG screenshots, but it's better to take PNG screenshots.

As regards to disc statistics, I use BDInfo to get statistics from full disc (I backup full disc in MakeMKV) and I use bitrate viewer to create the graph.

Never seen Techno Police, but I often check auction sites for the ultra rare Dutch dubbed VHS.

I did noticed that they were JPEG. Where can I change this with MadVR? Before when I was using VLC, the screen grabs were in PNG format.

You need to go to File > Save Image > select PNG.

What extras did the series have? I know it had the 4 OVAs and the textless credits, but was there anything else? It would seem odd to move the OVAs, seeing how they were basically extra episodes at the end of each season.

Such a shame because I can vouch that the steelbook's discs are a huge improvement over the discs the review references. Now if only the steelbook didn't feature stacked discs... It was difficult to remove them so I just kept them in separate sleeves.

I don't know how the SteelBook compares to the 2017 release, but the 2017 release should also have smaller subs. It was sometime around 2014 when Sentai finally stopped making their subs hilariously huge. Also, should be noted that the translation should have been tweaked a bit since the original Blu-rays, no idea if that happened as well on the 2017 release or not. If you're going to buy Clannad on Blu-ray, you're probably fine with either the 2017 release or SteelBook, just avoid the original Blu-rays as they were early Blu-ray releases for Sentai, and authored by David Williams, who authored most of Sentai's most problematic releases.
