The box has solely the Region B logo. Unfortunately there does not seem to be any software able to check the disc region compatible with my operating system.

1. Is the 2020 Taiwan release of Perfect Blue the same as the DNR-ed US/UK release?
2. Also I noticed Millennium Actress TW blu-ray is apparently BD-25? Does that affect the quality at all?
3. Just noticed another 2021 TW Paranoia Agent release as well. I know the funi one is bad, is this one a viable option then?

The Funi BD of Paranoia Agent isn't much different from the Kadokawa BD. The chroma plane on the Funi BD is slightly blurrier than Kadokawa BD, but not that any normal person would notice that when the upscale is blurry to start with. I don't expect that the TW BD brings any noteworthy improvements to the table.

Discotek recently made an announcement for some new BD releases, in particular I'm looking forward to the Darkstalkers OVA, Astro Boy (1980) & Lupin the 3rd Part I, but come to think about it, didn't someone mention that the Japanese BDs for the earlier Lupin series didn't look very good? I hope that doesn't end up being the case with this upcoming release too.

Also, was there any comparisons done between the previous BD release of Angel Cop with the more recent Remastered Steelbook? I was also interested to know what thoughts on the 4k BD of Robot Carnival were.

There's actually a Blu Ray VS 4K UHD comparison of Robot Carnival on YouTube. The difference between the two is very substantial. (in a good way)
